CJ Grisham is an entirely liberty minded candidate. He has been a great friend to other Texas Liberty candidates. He is a true liberty activist.

CJ gained national attention when he was arrested by the Temple police department while legally open carrying a rifle down a country road with his son. He went on to found Open Carry Texas, which made open carry a political hot topic. Bottom line, CJ Grisham is the reason any open carry bill was passed this session.

CJ strongly supported Jonathan Stickland's HB 195 Constitutional carry bill, which unfortunately did not pass.

Senator Troy Fraser is not running for reelection, so this is an open seat. It is a solidly Republican district.

CJ has a lot of statewide grassroots appeal, if he can generate that enthusiasm into fundraising, he may very well win this seat.

District 24 comprises the following counties: Bandera, Bell, Blanco, Brown, Burnet, Callahan, Comanche, Coryell, Gillespie, Hamilton, Kerr, Lampasas, Llano, Mills, San Saba and Taylor (part) and Travis (part).

Key cities in the district include Abilene, Brownwood, Belton, Fredericksburg, Killeen, Kerrville, Marble Falls, and Temple. It also contains two major military installations, Fort Hood near Killeen, and Dyess Air Force Base in Abilene.

Just now · Edited (https://www.facebook.com/pages/CJ-Grisham-for-Texas-Senate-District-24/754006761373895#) ·

Please allow me to clarify my candidacy. I have filed my treasurers announcement as required by law. This is the first step towards a formal candidacy, but makes my intent clear and legally allows me to start raising money. I have not made a "formal" announcement that I am a candidate yet. The purpose of this page is to stir things up, get people talking and gauge support, and hopefully get attendance when I'm ready to announce sometime next month. My apologies for not being clear to those to whom I have commitments.

CJ is a great guy. Everyone needs to vote for him and if you can't vote, send his campaign a few bucks to battle the statists he is going to be running against.

Friends, family, supporters, this is where the rubber meets the road. IT'S MONEY BOMB TIME! I've had a LOT of people tell me that they aren't in my district but will donate to a campaign. I've had a LOT of people in the district push for me to consider this who said they will support with votes and funds. I cannot build a campaign without money and I need a LOT just to get started! If you don't want to donate online, You can mail donations to CJ Grisham for Texas Senate, 4365 Airport Trail, Temple, Texas 76504. There are already four other candidates that are vying to take away your liberty and grow government further into your life. I want to stop that, but I need your help to do it! Please share with your family and friends and ask them to support me. Share in your political groups and clubs and anywhere liberty is valued.
