HELENA, Mont. — Firearms dealers in states that allow medical marijuana can't sell guns or ammunition to registered users of the drug, a policy that marijuana and gun-rights groups say denies Second Amendment rights to individuals who are following state law.

Federal law already makes it illegal for someone to possess a gun if he or she is "an unlawful user of, or addicted to" marijuana or other controlled substances.

Do pharma prescriptions cause an issue on background checks? Any depression meds, or the sleeping pills that makes people do weird things and not remember, or any of the other big pharma meds?

I know a person who grows it "legally by state law" who also have a gun collection. Is he going to have problems?

Look at the link I posted, it applies to federal courts....

If you're serious about researching read some case law, it's scary!
