Romney's got a fund-raiser at Gallery Furniture from 6:45 - 7:45. Anyone want to sign-wave in front? Its only $1000 to get inside and get a plate. ;)

Let me tell you a thing or two about Mattress Mac. He seems nice on TV and he contributes to local charities (good for him, that's good) but in person, he is a huge ass. I used to work at the horse track and he'd come to gamble some money. He was extremely rude every single time and is the worst tipper I've ever dealt with. His children went to school with my siblings and he would come in and yell at the teachers when they had anything negative to say about his children's performance. The man is truly horrible.

Aww, he didn't seem so bad when I've met him or listened to him speak. Oh well...

I'm sure there are plenty of grouchy RP supporters. :)

I just kind of thought that since he's kind of a self-made man, he'd wouldn't exactly support Romney.

Mattress Mac Donates to charity becuase he was court ordered too, as part of his Probation. He was arrested back in the 80's for something to do with Cocaine

To sell furniture in Houston, you have to be insane.

1. Mattress Mac - The first insane Houston furniture magnate. Dressed up as a Mattress and says Gallery Furniture really will SAVE...YOU...MONEY!! And then jumps in the air with the cash. Definitely the biggest name in Houston furniture. Funds the rockets, and was chair of the Bush-Clinton tsunami fund. Funds a lot of local charities and is a huge ass when nobody's looking. Has moderated his commercials a bit, and no longer wears a mattress. Sample commercial: http://youtube.com/watch?v=vayEEMLMUN8

2. Hilton Furniture. Hilton is also insane. Slogan: "That's a fact, Jack!" Brings his children on to yell out the slogan. Uses a chainsaw to saw mattresses in half while yelling "OHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!" Purchased a monster truck and painted his logos all over it and parks it out front. See the ads: http://www.hiltonfurniture.com/tvads.html

3. Bi-Rite Furniture. Slogan: "Where the beanbags are!" Two guys who dress up in beanbag chairs with their arms sticking out. In front of their business, they've constructed a huge bean bag chair tower. Probably about 80-100 feet tall.

4. Exclusive Furniture. Slogan: "WHERE LOW PRICES LIVE!" (punching motion) This guy dresses up as some sort of super hero and makes a lot of punching moves in his commercials. Has been known to hose people on furniture deals and get busted by investigative reporters.

If you're not insane, you apparently don't stand a chance in the Houston furniture business.

Yes, and then he's giving THE SPEECH in College Station. The "hay guyz, its not nice to be mean to me just cuz I'm a Mormon! Stop guyz!" speech.

I think it's funny that he's doing this speech in College Station.

Ask Romney the following three things:

1. Do you consider the fact that the French aren't Mormons a failure on your part?

2. Did you support your supporters cheating in the Florida Straw Poll?

3. How many of your sons plan to serve in Iraq?

I assume that's it? If you click the map it gives you a little writeup on specifically how to get there.

I'm on my cell right now, so I can't copy and paste, but just go up 45 past the north side of 610 and you'll see it a few more exits up on the right. Its huge and surrounded by competing furniture stores. You can't miss it. See if there's some directions on galleryfurniture.com

Yea, just a quick report.

Natalie and I got there at about 6:50 and went up to the building.

We held a Ron Paul 2008 sign in front of a large window where everyone was meeting. There were about 40 suits in the room and they all got a good laugh out of it. I smiled and waved and then three cops came out and told us that we didn't need any incidents tonight. We left the property and stood by the street and waited for Chad and Amber to show up.

When they got there we held signs till just about everyone had left. We saw Romney's two SUV's leave the parking lot with a two police car escort. Romney had to of seen us although we didn't get any waves or anything.

Thanks for letting us know he was going to be in town. :)

Niiiiiiiice. You don't come to Ron Paul's backyard and dodge a sign-wave!
