This morning we learned that the DC Establishment is once again coming after me and sending down the same Washington insider as last time - DC lobbyist Taylor Griffin.

Get ready to see hundreds of thousands of dollars spent on television and mail ads from the same out of state ad hoc special interest lobbyists and insiders. Last time, a whopping 96% of Taylor Griffin’s money came from outside Eastern NC. They told bold-faced lies last time, and they will do it again, because I refuse to sell out to special interests!

Interesting point that 96% of Taylor griffen's money came from out of state.

Walter jones is a solid conservative anti establishment figure and even though he was outspent 10 to 1 last election still won. So that means your campaign contribution is put to effective use, and is not spent in vain or wasted.

Jones defeated Taylor Griffin, a former aide to President George W. Bush, 52 percent to 45 percent, with 66 percent of precincts reporting, according to The Associated Press.

Outside groups spent more than $1 million to paint Jones as “liberal” and boost Griffin’s candidacy in the 3rd District. But Republican operatives in North Carolina said Jones’ deep ties to the Tar Heel State were too much for Griffin to overcome.

Now see, Jones I can see my money going to for good use, especially considering he may have a second primary challenger and how close the race was.
