Why no news of Christian/Muslim groups celebrating historic gay marriage ruling and only news of Jewish groups' #LoveWins celeberations?
Love was supposed to be the engine of survival and basic tenant of all religions.
Please no scriptures based answers, this is a political question and not a religious one.

Secondly, what would be penalty/punishment for Churches, Mosques, Synagogues,Temples that refuse to marry gay couples?

Jewish groups celebrate historic U.S. Supreme Court gay marriage ruling

Multiple organizations cite Genesis passage that states humans were created 'in the image of God' after court extends marriage rights to gay Americans throughout the country's 50 states.

JTA - How often do you get the opportunity to pack “109 years,” #LoveWins and the colors of the rainbow into 140 characters?
That’s how the American Jewish Committee celebrated the Supreme Court ruling (http://www.haaretz.com/news/world/1.663167) Friday extending marriage rights to gay people throughout the United States.
“For 109 years AJC has stood for liberty and human rights,” its tweet said. “Today is a happy day for that proud tradition ‪#LoveWins.” It was punctuated with a heart emoticon splashed rainbow colors.
The contrast between an organization founded at the launch of the last century celebrating the rights embraced by Americans only at the launch of this one was emblematic of the glee with which much of the Jewish establishment reacted to the ruling.
The Anti-Defamation League, in its own tweet, left out its age (102) but also got in the hashtag, #LoveWins, and that funny little heart.
Thirteen Jewish groups, among them organizations representing the Reform, Reconstructionist and Conservative streams, were among the 25 joining the amicus brief the ADL filed in Obergefell v. Hodges.
The preeminence of Jewish groups among those backing the litigants was not a surprise. In recent decades, much of the Jewish establishment has embraced gay marriage as a right equivalent to the others it has advocated, including racial equality, religious freedoms and rights for women.
Multiple groups, in their statements, cited the passage in Genesis that states humans were created “in the image of God,” which has for decades been used by Jewish civil rights groups to explain their activism.

AFA Wants Jewish Supreme Court Justices Kagan and Ginsburg to Recuse from Marriage Case
American Family Association is pushing Supreme Court Justices Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Elena Kagan to remove themselves from the upcoming case that will decide whether same-sex marriage is protected under the Constitution. They’re arguing that both women have officiated at gay weddings, making them “activists” for homosexuality.

Why would they celebrate it when their scriptures say otherwise?

That said, i'm sure the apostates in the PCUSA are throwing a party.

Same said Torah.

Premise was that all these religions scriptures had same view on homosexuality but political/religious leaders in these groups identifying with their respective faiths have very different views.

On a related note, one thing is interesting that currently there is not a single SCOTUS Judge representing Protestant Christians, the largest demographic in the US (about 50% of US population).

The table below shows the religious affiliation of each of the justices sitting as of 2014:

I am not buying it. Probably a Muslim by birth only or a total fake.

It is so ridiculous when people say they are part of some religion or Christian sect yet have never read the bible, been to church, etc. But then use it for their own gain for something like this.

Kind of like people who say they support the Constitution, but defend torture and undeclared wars. People identify with things without bothering to understand them.

MW/Haaretz is primary source of news feeds I have found to be most informative for my primary interest in politics i.e.,Foreign Policy/causes of WTC1/2/7 events/Iraqi freedom wars. These tend to be less manipulated than uncontrolled US media ( no diss to Billy Graham/Nixon tapes).
Do you have a suggestion for better new feeds or offended by any of this?

Although US media is generally pretty honest, above could be a fake Islamist.

But he/she seems much better dressed than these "American Muslims" of RM1.0 who paraded in New York way before birth of ISIS:
