In a rare move against the advance of license plate readers, Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal (R) has vetoed a plan to acquire the scanners in the Bayou State. It had previously passed both houses of the Louisiana legislature overwhelmingly.

Not sure what his motivation is, without such security capabilities it would be harder to do freedom interventions in mideast and stand with our closest allied democracies and dictatorships there.

If/when he proposes not permitting their use within his state by the feds I'll be impressed until then.........Ho hum.

He must be running for President, that's the main reason Governors ever do the right thing.
