I've seen a good amount of Ron Paul stuff up and down the front range - from vegan restaurants in liberal Boulder to rural areas outside conservative Colorado Springs.

Please Digg it :-)

Colorado = military state. Ron Paul could win there!

There's definitely a lot of military people in Southern Colorado (where I live), and a good contingent of libertarianish types. People who've lived in Colorado for a long time (like me, 27 years) tend to be really anti-tax, anti-federal government, anti-drug law, pretty much anti-any law.

I didn't like that poll- The question that got him 12% was "Which candidate is most in tune with the wants and needs of Colorado?"

The only other question with his name in it was "Who is the most likely to get the GOP nomination?" and he got 3% in that. Thats a BS question.

Where is the question that says - "If elections were held today, which GOP candidate would you vote for?"

This poll does not ask who will you vote for.

This poll does not ask who will you vote for.

I think these are just as important if not more important than those. The "who WILL you vote for" polls carry with them all kinds of problems concerning who people think is electable and whether people are masking their true preferences, to say nothing of the feedback effect that makes polls more of a reflection of media coverage than vice versa.

If the media actually cares about representative democracy, they would be including polls like these a lot more often to show what the people actually want, not who they're being herded into voting for by the supposedly impartial polls themselves.

Far be it from them to ask, "Who would you like to have for President?"

Seems simple enough.

Yeah they are. I know some radio ads have been approved and the campaign is also opening up a Southern Office in Colorado Springs on the 15th. We're planning to do a massive sign waiving/leaflet handout to coincide with it and media coverage is being arranged. We hope to boost the 16th money bomb by focusing our efforts on this day.

If you're anywhere near Southern Colorado and you can join us that Saturday, please check out the details here:

At our last waiving, you almost couldn't tell which corner the honks were coming from at times because they were coming from all over. But we only had 20 people and we're going to need a lot more if we're cover another two intersections. And having our own campaign office in town should be exciting, so that's worth checking out on its own.
