And, it may be interesting when she finally speaks out. As I have said before- I am Cherokee, Lumbee, Celt, and have a touch of black from generations gone by, and I look like my avatar. In years past that drop of black blood would have made me legally black. Maybe she has a similar story.

I don't know if everybody here knows the full story - the reporter who uncovered this was interviewing her about a threatening letter that she claimed was sent to her in the mail. She has had something like 8 or 9 incidents, many of which were classified as 'hate crimes' by the authorities and none of them were ever solved. The interviewer straight up asked her if she sent the letter to herself as some people had speculated.

I don't care if she lied about her race, unless she was seeking financial assistance from the government - but if she did it in order to further her persona I don't see that as a big deal. But if she was lying about the 'hate crimes' then that would be something to investigate especially if she was seeking some other high profile position.

NAACP Imposter Sued School Over Race Claims

Rachel Dolezal alleged she was victim of white discrimination

JUNE 15--The NAACP official who today resigned in the face of evidence that she masqueraded as black once sued Howard University for denying her teaching posts and a scholarship because she was a white woman, The Smoking Gun has learned.

Rachel Dolezal, 37, who headed the NAACP’s Spokane, Washington chapter, sued Howard for discrimination in 2002, the year she graduated from the historically black college with a Master of Fine Arts degree.

Dolezal, then known as Rachel Moore, named the university and Professor Alfred Smith as defendants in a lawsuit filed in Washington, D.C.’s Superior Court. During the pendency of the civil case, Smith was chairman of Howard’s Department of Art.

According to a Court of Appeals opinion, Dolezal's lawsuit “claimed discrimination based on race, pregnancy, family responsibilities and gender.” She alleged that Smith and other school officials improperly blocked her appointment to a teaching assistant post, rejected her application for a post-graduate instructorship, and denied her scholarship aid while she was a student.

The court opinion also noted that Dolezal claimed that the university’s decision to remove some of her artworks from a February 2001 student exhibition was “motivated by a discriminatory purpose to favor African-American students over” her.

As detailed in the court opinion, Dolezal’s lawsuit contended that Howard was “permeated with discriminatory intimidation, ridicule, and insult.”

Judge Zoe Bush dismissed Dolezal’s complaint in February 2004, 18 months after the lawsuit was filed and Dolezal was deposed on several occasions. Bush found no evidence that Dolezal was discriminated on the basis of race or other factors. The D.C. Court of Appeals subsequently affirmed Bush’s decision.

Following the dismissal of Dolezal’s lawsuit (and the Court of Appeals decision), she was ordered to reimburse Howard for a “Bill of Costs” totaling $2728.50. During the case, she was also ordered to pay the university nearly $1000 in connection with an “obstructive and vexatious” court filing that sought to improperly delay her examination by an independent doctor.

Dolezal’s lawsuit, included “claims for medical and emotional distress damages,” according to a court docket. (5 pages)

Breitbart News spoke with David Meany, the person in charge of media relations at Eastern Washington University (EWU), where Rachel Dolezal was listed as a professor of Africana Studies. He said Dolezal’s contract with EWU expired June 12th and she is “no longer an employee of Eastern Washington University.”

“Dolezal was listed as a professor but she was never a professor,” Meany explained. “Either she or one of her staffers listed her inaccurately as a professor.” Meany told Breitbart News, Dolezal was an “adjunct instructor hired on a quarterly basis.” He added that she has been hired on a quarterly basis since 2010 and that her profile was taken down from the school’s website to “avoid confusion.”

Not in the sense that Ted Danson did it, but she was trying to pass for black. Same difference, and I can't imagine why there is not some outrage in the black community. She had a job to advance colored people, and she's not one. An actual black should have had the job, but it just goes to show you how the liberals circle the wagons around their own.

We've heard no end of Jeb saying he was Hispanic. He has probably filled out hundreds of forms on his kids where he has checked that box, and I can see why he might do it once in an absentminded parent frame of mind, but because he did, the apocalypse has come.

The big brother of Fox sitcom star Mindy Kaling reveals that he got into medical school by pretending to be African-American.
Fifteen years ago, Vijay Chokal-Ingam shaved off his straight black hair, trimmed what he calls his “long Indian eyelashes” and started checking off the “black” box for race on his med-school applications.
Before long, the Asian Indian-American was interviewing at Harvard and Columbia, and found himself on wait lists at the University of Pennsylvania, Washington University and Mt. Sinai — despite his relatively mediocre 3.1 GPA and his family’s considerable wealth.

Here's the thing: Our nation is rife with racial tension, fomented by black leadership, including the president and the "poverty pimps." We need to be having a serious discussion about race. We need to hear the real stories of people who have had success in managing their attitudes and their lives, and how we can stop this culture of hate based on race.

This is why Rachel Dolezal is the worst thing that can happen. Since when do we let a pathological liar and a nutjob frame the discussion about who we are? But that is exactly what is happening. Race is more of a social construct. It is not objectified as much in other places, and it's not considered fluid because nobody cares. It is what it is.

So I think we stop talking about this crazy woman and get down to the nuts and bolts of why this has pushed so many buttons and why we can't just stop the nonsense.

Yes. And there is no way to have a sane and rational discussion about anything when the premise is based on a lie. To be quite honest, my husband and I could be called White and Whiter. The black experience is something we learn by hearing the experiences of real black people. I can't learn anything from someone who is not black, who has no inkling of what the black experience is, or whether such a thing even exists. Maybe the "black experience" is really the "poverty experience" or the "ghetto experience." We don't know as long as we let liars frame the discussion. And if we get away from making about skin color, maybe we could find out what the problem really is.

Incdentally, this is a good time to drop the African-American tag. I have a very close friend who was born in Africa. She is an American citizen. She is whiter than I am, but I daresay she has more black experience, and identifies more with blacks, having lived most of her life in tribal Africa than Rachel Dolezal ever dreamed of.

I wonder if she was shunned by whites and then found her niche with blacks? Black men will typically grab any white woman, even burn victims I might add. For some reason, seemingly ordinary white women are generally placed on a very high pedestal by black men. I suspect Doleazal enjoyed all the attention and the rest is history. This is all very odd to comprehend since this woman is basically living an elaborate lie.

Sane, rational people care. Why? Because things are not quite as simple as you imply. There are matters of in question whose tentacles touch just about everything. LIes such as those in question tend to poison the well of trust with great totality.

This episode has given further exposure to the disingenuous nature of PC word magic, where one's claim to "self identify" as something is supposed to end any discussion. For some reason, saying "I self-identify as gay, I was born that way and I can't change" must be accepted, but thousands who say "I self-identify as a former homosexual, as gays are not born that way, so I can change my behavior" must never be acknowledged. And somehow the "I was born that way" gay people who self-identify that they can't change, don't ever consult with the transgender people who self identify as being able to change, regardless of the way they were born.

Exactly why is it perfectly OK for a man to pretend he’s a woman, but not for a Caucasian to pretend she’s black? So social liberals are concerned that the NAACP white lady shouldn't self identify as black, but we must accept all the other, more politically-correct self-identifications? And these same people seem to be concerned about the woman lying on the application forms in order to get a "black" job, but they're not concerned about illegal immigrants who lie on the paperwork in order to get "white" jobs?

And still others seem upset over the misrepresenting extremes Dolezal went to land the job, since it breaks the narrative of "white privilege" about the best jobs being on the "white" side? Oh my, how confusing the self-serving, selective game of "I am what am, if I just self-identify" gets.

This group has been instrumental in curtailing the rights of Americans, and we need to take the opportunity to do what we can to prevent her, or the mainstream media from reframing the conversation.

Too bad I don't answer the census. I think I would self-identify as black from now on.

I think her lawsuit against howard university for discrimination because she was white explains it all. She chose a career focused on black issues and felt that she couldn't advance in that field without pretending to be black. Makes a lot of sense. The black community has for far too long had their own racism and bigotry excused away.

Agree here. She's transracial. If there can be transsexual, there can be transracial. What's the big deal? People seem to want transage to start getting their SS, and also transspecies like Randy Marsh the lawphin.

I think that transracial is more legit than transsexual, actually, and by firing her, she was oppressed by the NAACP, who should know better. I'd think that NAACP should have compassion for all Colored people whether they're actually Colored, or are just crazy and think they are, or are grifting the system.

Rachel Dolezal Doubles Down on Her Racial Identity on NBC's 'Today'

https://www.yahoo.com/news/rachel-dolezal-doubles-down-her-143800573.html

Just when you thought it was safe to watch daytime television again.

Rachel Dolezal, former head of the Spokane, Washington, NAACP chapter returned to NBC's Today to discuss her new book about racial identity and to restate how she identifies. Despite being born to white parents, Dolezal still identifies as a black woman.

"I don't have any regrets about how I identify," Dolezal said to Today anchor Savannah Guthrie. "I'm still me and nothing about that has changed."

Since the initial June controversy, Dolezal has admitted that she was white. A then-pregnant Dolezal appeared on talk show The Real in November to discuss her racial identity. When she admitted she was "born white," the audience gave her a standing ovation.

In June, Dolezal stepped down from her seat as the president of the Spokane chapter of the NAACP. She became a running media and late-night punchline, though her controversy did spark a lot of questions about racial identity and white privilege.

When Guthrie asked her if she could have been more upfront about her early life, Dolezal said it was a "complex issue."

"How do you just sum up a whole life of coming into who you are in a soundbite?"

People around the world who are "caught between boundary lines of race or culture, ethnicity" have reached out to Dolezal for support and to share their stories, Dolezal said.

However, as Dolezal spoke, her answer became equal parts woke and confusing.

"Race is such a contentious issue, because of the painful history of racism," she said. "Race didn't create racism, racism created race."

While that's fair enough, she then went on to disavow the notion of race and suggested that race had perhaps been not-a-thing before her story came out.

"So I think it's important to really think through those a lot of those topics and questions that people have," she said. "And that's why this became so visible, because it really challenged people to think about identity and what is race? Is there one human race? Why do we still want to go back to that worldview of separate races?"

More
Yes, it's admirable that Dolezal is working through questions of race and racism, but maybe it's best to sometimes take a page out of her own book, say you don't understand the question and walk away

WHAT well of trust? There ain't one.

And why is that?

Once upon a time there was a guy named Ron Paul who I could trust- no one before or since in my short life time.

Oh, I have been blessed beyond my deserts with people whom I can trust. None of them are in politics.

If we're gonna call down the liars let's start at the top and work our way down, instead of having heart attacks over something that doesn't affect anyone on this forum.

I didn't realize we were doing that. I wasn't, anyhow. Just joining in the conversation. However, I may call your approach into some question. I think all the bullshitters and liars should be called out. Why waste any opportunity to ID and slam them? I'm at the point where my tolerance for F.A.I.L. has worn threadbare. I remember the old timers telling me when I was a fiery youngin' that when I got older I would become more tolerant of people and their foibles. Wrong. I am more intolerant of stoopidity than ever before. I am intolerant of the CHOICE and the WILL to think and act like a dangerous idiot.

Rachel Dolezal Near Homelessness After Rejecting Porn and Reality TV Offers

https://www.yahoo.com/news/rachel-dolezal-near-homelessness-rejecting-porn-reality-tv-033024161.html

Rachel Dolezal, the white woman who became infamous for identifying herself as a black woman for decades and running the Spokane, Washington, chapter of the NAACP, is jobless and fears she may soon be homeless.

In an interview with The Guardian about her upcoming memoir “In Full Color: Finding My Place in a Black and White World,” Dolezal says she’s jobless, has only been offered employment in reality television and porn films, feeds her family with food stamps and doesn’t know how she’ll come up with her March rent. She says that although she has applied for more than 100 jobs, no one will hire her even to stock shelves.

“Right now the only place that I feel understood and completely accepted is with my kids and my sister,” she said, claiming she can currently count the number of friends she has left in Spokane on her fingers.

Dolezal’s life began to unravel two years ago when a TV reporter asked her, “Are you African American?” and she turned from the camera and fled. Shortly thereafter, her Caucasian parents came forward with photos of her childhood as a freckle-faced blonde and claims that her roots are German and Czech, with traces of Native American ancestry.

Time has passed but wounds have not healed — she lost her jobs with the NAACP and Eastern Washington University, most of her family and friends are estranged, and the respect she had earned for her civil rights activism turned into disgrace.

“There’s no protected class for me,” she told The Guardian. “I’m this generic, ambiguous scapegoat for white people to call me a race traitor and take out their hostility on. And I’m a target for anger and pain about white people from the black community. It’s like I am the worst of all these worlds.”

Through the tribulation and disgrace, Dolezal still feels no shame.

“No, I don’t,” she replied, when asked if she thinks she had done anything wrong. “I’m not going to stoop and apologize and grovel and feel bad about it. I would just be going back to when I was little, and had to be what everybody else told me I should be — to make them happy.”

“In Full Color: Finding My Place in a Black and White World” will be available on March 28.

Rachel Dolezal Near Homelessness After Rejecting Porn...

Give it time... she'll be back... at a substantially lower rate, no less.

Here we have proof that indeed she has options and must not be coddled by anyone tempted to feel sorry for her.

Rachel Dolezal did this to herself. This time it's for real... imagine that. :)

I... I... I think I feel a tear coming...

Nope, false alarm.

If you're going to lie, lie big and stick to it no matter how absurd you may appear in the eyes of intelligent, decent people. YEAH!

“There’s no protected class for me,”

Poor baby.

I’m this generic, ambiguous scapegoat for white people to call me a race traitor and take out their hostility on.

Professional victims will professionally victim.

And I’m a target for anger and pain about white people from the black community. It’s like I am the worst of all these worlds.

Oh gee, wonder why...

Sheesh, what a maroon.

Through the tribulation and disgrace, Dolezal still feels no shame.

Probably more lies. May SAY she feels no shame. But if true, all the more damning as she obviously has no sane sense about her at all.

“I’m not going to stoop and apologize and grovel and feel bad about it. I would just be going back to when I was little, and had to be what everybody else told me I should be — to make them happy.”

And here, ladies and gentlemen, a crystalline picture of the depths of her corruption. She says that apologizing for having committed an evil act is "stooping". She further implies she ought not "grovel", when in fact that is precisely what she should be doing, if being accepted once again into the company of her fellow human beings is of even the least interest to her. She is a prime candidate for a prescription for powerful mind-altering drugs.

This woman is a textbook case of the tragedy of progressive mind poisoning.

“In Full Color: Finding My Place in a Black and White World” will be available on March 28.

Both copies sold will have been purchased by her children and her sister. The rest to be on cut-out sale within seven days of initial publication, the only purpose for them being toilet paper and kindling.

Well done Ms. Rachel. You did it to yourself in grand style. I say keep the faith, for you are a true poster child for the hideousness of human mental disease.
