Just got back from the OC GOP Fundraiser and have to say it was a pretty cool event. I got to meet a lot of local Rand supporters and even Gage for the first time (shoutout).
I'd say there were about 1,000 people in attendance, Rand had an OK speech, it wasn't energizing, partly because the sound system wasn't turned high enough to counter the clanking of peoples knives and forks hitting their plates but he made a lot of great points that I saw people agreeing with (some didn't clap, of course). Rand got a lot of applause. He went over spying, asset forfeiture, expanding the party, protecting all of the bill of rights, hit Hillary on the Libya war and talked about arming the enemy. One very important thing that I've been wishing for him to do was talking about Kalief Browder and his death, I'm glad Rand is pushing on that and he did it in a great way.
