Ron Paul & Gen. Batiste talk about Iraq surge. Of course Paul makes clear that the U.S. foreign policy cannot be maintained at its current level.

And here's a recent Giuliani speech where he acknowledges that his foreign policy views are the same with most GOP candidates except for Ron Paul, who he says "doesn't look at it (foreign policy) quite the way I do" and that's at around 32:30 of the video. You can skip over the first 32 minutes of his speech if you don't have time, I'll give you a brief overview:

-he has a 12 step foreign policy plan, but he only talks about #1 which is staying on offence on terrorism
-he knows history and he knows terrorism
-islamic fascists
-9/11

Actually the question someone poses to him starts at 31:55 where he asks how Giuliani's view of Israel differs from the other candidates. It's quite funny how Giuliani diverges from answering that question and goes into a tirade about terrorism and 9/11.

Speaking as a non-American I will say I am afraid of what would happen if someone like Giuliani was elected as your president in '08. Are a lot of Americans still so caught up in fear that this kind of rhetoric will work? Is it that people are just not informed and rely on FOX news to get their daily update? Or have people just become sitcom/reality show zombies who vote for politicians based on recognition and star power?

You have nothing to worry about. Giuilani will never win the Republican Nomination. He's pro-abortion, 2-3 divorces, and is anti-guns. Even if, by some fluke, he did get the nomination, he is pro war and we saw how that worked out for Republicans in '06.

Keith Olberman (sp) took Rudy apart last night on his show. It was fabulous.

I have no worries at all re: Rudy.

He is unelectable.

All of the above. :(

Is there a video on that?

Olbermann has to know about Ron Paul if he's mentioning Rudy.

I THINK this is it.

Watch it and let me know if the guy interviewed is a Village Voice writer with a book out.

I can't believe anything Rudy says anymore. He's telling history and rewriting it at the same time, for his own fear mongering benefit.

You see why I say Rudy is unelectable?

I thought the two of them did an EXCELLENT job of ... educating (us about) Rudy. ;)

The only thing you have to worry about is that if Ron Paul doesn't get the nomination of the Republican party then Hillary will wreak havoc on the economy with progressive taxation for socialistic programs. The reason you have to worry about this is because most certainly the dollar will crash hard with the amount of tax burden (and theft of production as a result thereof) which Hillary will cause.

If Ron Paul isn't the Rep nominee, Hillary is without a doubt going to win.

Hillary was "interviewed" on CNBC a while back, she's ... frightening.

I thought the wisdom was that Americans hate or are tired of Hilary, she has no chance either.

I think it's already been scripted for Rudy to win the nomination and lose to Hillary in the GE. They know he is unelectable in the GE, he is just playing his part with no intentions of being prez. (see Bob Dole, John Kerry) How else could he look so bad now, and still be considered the "front-runner"?

I think it's scripted for Hillary to win, and as unelectable as she appears to be, who is the one candidate she would likely beat in the GE? that's right..Rudy G.

OK, that's my 1 conspircay rant for the month..let's get back to work on messing up their script.

I'd like to think that Giuliani and Hillary are unelectable; but then, why are they doing so well in the polls.

look, you shouldnt have anything to worry about with Giuliani, after all, he married his second cousin. I'm sure that wont look too good when the mud-slinging starts (which of course Ron Paul will stay out of).
