The Army’s website was breached on Monday by the group known as the Syrian Electronic Army, according to multiple reports.

The Army acknowledged the intrusion in a statement.

"Today an element of the Army.mil service provider's content was compromised," Brig. Gen. Malcolm B. Frost said in a statement. "After this came to our attention, the Army took appropriate preventive measures to ensure there was no breach of Army data by taking down the website temporarily."

Ars Technica reported that the group had left a message claiming that it was responsible for the attack. It also left a message that said "Your commanders admit they are training the people they have sent you to die fighting."

So, they hacked the Army website to post a statement of truth.

Should I be pissed about the Web Site's piss poor security.. or the fact that the statement they posted it true?

The best piss poor security tax money can buy.

And, yes, the message was true.

These are not goat herders.

No, they are CIA agents.

Why else would they post the truth and then say the terrorists said it? They want people to associate the truth with terrorism. Does that remind you of a quote by someone else?
