C-SPAN 2 on the floor Rand objected to Mitch McConnell again.
About 3:45 today McConnell came to the floor and tried to get unanimous consent to allow Senate to consider cloture on House passed bill at 6pm and vote on amendments today in regular order instead of tomorrow.
Rand objected and said that he would be happy to agree to vote sooner (6pm), IF Paul's amendments were to be allowed to be voted on.
McConnell then realized he wasn't going to get the quicker vote and Senator Richard Burr from NC claimed that he tried to allow Rand Paul's amendments and offered a tabling so his amendment could be voted on, but an objection could be heard not allowing Rand's amendment. Then Burr continued on with his BS and the "9 Myths of the Patriot Act Section 215". He is really calling out Paul (not by name, but by every other possible way).
