About four or five others are against a straight up renewal of the Patriot Act without any reforms. I don't think there are any others who want to do away with it entirely.

I believe Heller, Lee, and Murkowski all voted against it last time it came up for reauthorization

Congress is voting on the future of the PATRIOT Act this week. See where your lawmakers stand. (https://www.endsurveillance.com/)

If Rand even made an honest attempt at a talking filibuster with the goal of hoping to filibuster his way to the expiration of the patriot act, he'd be an American hero....

I believe Cruz is claiming to oppose it.

I believe Cruz is claiming to oppose it.

He supports the USA Freedom Act, so Cruz does in fact want the Patriot Act programs to continue.

Rand stands alone.

I wonder if the people even know or care. when congress passed the alien and sedition acts they were so unpopular they were soon repealed. but the patriot act goes on and on.
