About time to step up militarization of US Police :

Rep. Pete King (R-N.Y.) :
"When people like Hillary Clinton say that police should not have weapons of war, the fact is, we are at war; we are at war with Islamist terrorism, and we have to have all weapons and all resources available," he said Monday morning on Fox News's "Fox and Friends."
King added that he and others have been warning for years about the prevalence of radicalized people living in the United States and renewed his call for "constant surveillance" by law enforcement to root out any plots.

The military and the national guard having weapons of war makes sense since that is the expressed function of said enforcement bodies. Police are charged with law enforcement, not war, so the only reason why police should have weapons of war is because the government is at war...with its own citizens, ergo a police state.

As much as I'd love to give King at taste of his own poison, I do not want to know what goes on in his house.

Hmmmmmm, it is doubtful that there has been an act of 'islamic terrorism' in the USA during the entire 'war on terror' which was not a Gladio style op by the USA security organs..........usually involving expending some deluded patsy.
