As for State's Rights, how about the shift toward Marijuana use by some states? That removes the job for state police to profile and nab people for possession which for some insane reason the Federal Government is against.

I think the War on Drugs is a big root cause of police grabbing people for potential drug convictions. Hand over the entire job of policing to the Federal Government and I can't imagine how much worse this could get.
