Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake, who gave rioters “space to destroy” property and reportedly told police to stand down, was a key player in the Justice Dept.’s plan to expand federal control over local law enforcement.
Rawlings-Blake was one of three mayors who provided broad input into President Obama’s Task Force on 21st Century Policing (http://www.cops.usdoj.gov/pdf/taskforce/Interim_TF_Report.pdf), which advocates the federalization of police departments across the country by forcing them to adhere to stricter federal requirements when they receive funding.

Well isn't that convenient?? Not really, most of this stuff is planned and staged as per Hegelian requirements.

Just by way of notes in the margin:
I suggest you (anyone reading this) try actually reading Hegel sometime. Don't get discouraged when you don't understand; you don't understand because it is literally gibberish, nonsense, unsind. But this shit subtitute for thought took hold in Western academia a long time ago. If you hate the state, Hegelian "thought" is the root of most of the evils of the last century. Leftist political jabbering these says is just a rehashing of Hegel.

OK, I had avoided even looking at this,,
But I looked and my suspicions were confirmed.
GO ahead and "Google" Baltimore Fusion Center. (remember Fusion Centers?)
http://projects.washingtonpost.com/top-secret-america/states/maryland/
The Maryland Joint Terrorism Task Force is located in Baltimore. The U.S. attorney chairs an Anti-Terrorism Advisory Council (ATAC) in Baltimore.
St Louis Mo has a terrorist training fusion center as well. (Ferguson Mo)
Not surprising at all. :(

It's no surprise that she would be part of Federalization, DHS and Fusion centers. No doubt she's a good Marxist like Obama, and an "adviser" to him.
It would also be no surprise for her to tell the Police to back off.
Both would be consistent, without it being a plot to instigate the riots.
As for the now infamous "give them room to destroy", that has been blown out of proportion. In the context, she was describing what had happened Sat night. She just was just not specific enough in her wording. She was saying that creating room for non-violent protesters also gave the bad element room to destroy. Sometimes it's hard to actually be clear when your language is political correctness.
Ironically, the Mayor used the word "thugs" after the major looting started on Monday, and a black women (Marxist political officer) on CNN said that the word "thug" is now a racist term, and the Mayor needed to apologize for using it. They have to correct their own so that they can demonize those they disagree with in the future.

Order out of chaos...this is their goal. Acclimate the people to seeing troops on the streets and making them believe they are safe.

Calm returns to Baltimore...for now: Police hail first night of strict curfew a success despite brief clashes as 2,000 National Guard troops and 1,000 extra cops restore order and prepare for another night of lockdown (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3060903/Calm-returns-Baltimore-Police-hail-strict-curfew-success-despite-brief-clashes-2-000-National-Guard-troops-1-000-extra-officers-arrest-10-ensure-order-restored-city.html)

As to brian4liberty's comment above, I too am kind of getting weary of the 'space to destroy' comment being overblown. I can't defend her letting the feds come in and take over, but I get what she was trying to say even if she worded it poorly.
Put yourself in a mayor's shoes, and imagine for a moment that you are trying to respect the first amendment and crack down on rioters/looters/arsonists at the same time. Half the town is gonna vote you out if you don't deal with the arsonists and looters, and half the town is gonna vote you out if you infringe on someone's right to assemble. Bottom line: You're gonna be fucked from both ends sideways.
NO one is talking about policies leading up to these events. War on drugs, federalization of police, the warrior cop mentality, etc. Everyone always looks at each other after these riots subside and says, 'well that was weird, all out of the blue people just up and went crazy. Oh well, back to normal.'
No one questions the precipitating factors, and so we're going to see this happening more frequently.

There are 78 "fusion centers"- more than one for every state. Are they all rioting? http://www.dhs.gov/fusion-center-locations-and-contact-information
"is this more than just a coincidence?" Or is it just a coincidence?

1. Thugs riot
2. Hold back police
3. ????
4. Profit
So basically they hold back the police and allowed the rioters to do the damage so the people would ask for more police or increase police budget? haha

You can't even count all those broken windows. I think we're looking at a boom in Baltimore's future.

Not just Fusion Centers (though they are bad in and of themselves), But Terrorist training centers.
Terrorism Task forces. In places where there was no terrorism,, they will create it to justify their existence.
This is "community organizers" taken to a whole new level. :(

You know why nobody is talking about it directly in relation to this event? Because they all know that as soon as you do so the media will twist it and say through their megaphone that you are excusing or justifying the behavior. The media will claim that you said that the people who's businesses got burnt down, got beaten, killed or other property destroyed deserved it because of those factors. And they will say it and repeat it over and over and louder than you could ever hope to do yourself. That is why. It won't matter that it isn't true.
Some people want to suggest the federal govt encourages or even false flag caused this event. Well I say the media has even more to gain from doing so; they are the ones really profiting. Maybe the media false flagged this crap.

Maybe the media false flagged this crap.
Certainly complicit. if not in concert with.
There was legitimate anger, by the general population, at the police abuse. It has been ongoing and growing for years. (both the abuse and the anger at it)
The Terrorist Task Force has been in place and working for years,,targeting the people (victims),, not the police who are the source of the problem.
The best way to stop peaceful protests is to turn the "Brown Shirts" loose on the area,, and give excuse for military takeover (Martial law).
____
For the most part,, the citizens of Baltimore ,,like St Louis,, are unarmed. Disarmed and controlled by the socialist programs that have been in place for generations.. The few criminals, thugs, and organized crime are as much tools of the state.. Run from behind the scenes by the same folks that run the police..
And the Peaceful citizens (the sheep) are caught in the middle.
