Sawyer Shephard, a 17 year old, On Tuesday April 21, 2015, went hunting in the morning and took all his equipment home, but forgot to remove his gun. This gun was broken down into three pieces, without shells in the truck, locked in his truck in a case under his back seat, completely unharmful.
Due to the no tolerance law, he was suspended for 14 days. The school ( Carthage High School in Missouri) as well decided to take away his senior seson of baseball, and his right to graduate is possibly being taken away. The law states to report this to the state if the school feels it's putting students in danger.
We feel it is unfair to Sawyer that he is being punished to this extreme. He has earned his senior year, and we will protest until Sawyer gets his freedom.

Gabe Winton, a classmate, said that Sawyer lost all of his Scholarships.
