I did not realize this until recently. Yes, I have read the Constitution several times, but sometimes parts of it don't really hit you until you look up the context.

Members of Congress may enter classified information into the Congressional record with legal immunity. However, they may not obtain the documents illegally and it does not prevent the from being disciplined by Congress. I expect anyone who released information today would be removed from Congress.

Mike Gravel put 4,000 classified pages (https://firstlook.org/theintercept/2014/11/10/mike-gravel-senator-put-pentagon-papers-public-record-urges-udall-torture-report/) of the Pentagon pages in the Congressional Record in 1971.

I wonder if any of our liberty reps have any good information they would be willing to leak, even though it would be the end of their careers in politics?

Personally, I would prefer any liberty reps to stay in Congress and try to do some good by blocking bad legislation.

I can't think of ANY classified info leak that would be worth losing one of our reps.

Seriously - look at how much truly shocking stuff has come to light after 9/11 and the wars. Stuff that is verifiable. Stuff that would have ended careers and generated banner headlines sixty or seventy years ago.

Today, the public just glances at it, yawns, and turns on the TV. :(:(

I wonder if we can convince Rubio to leak the 28 pages. Tell him it will be good for his presidential aspirations...
