Josephine County Sheriff Dave Daniel, who happens to be the top law enforcement officer in the county in which the Bureau of Land Management is currently engaged in a dispute with local gold miners, told Josephine County Oath Keepers representative Joseph Rice that he will not enforce a proposed state law that, if it were to pass, would mandate background checks on private gun transactions between individuals.
