This woman is a completely deluded nutter! Putting aside her clearly staged resignation during a live RT broadcast last year and putting aside the concern that she has discredited herself as to her core reason for resigning in the first place (after her Ron Paul interview allegations that Ron Paul himself had disagreed with), look at the hypocrisy of her own actions: she bemoans conspiracy theorists (namely only the ones who take to the Internet), while publicly asserting that her employer RT is involved in a conspiracy against both America and has been proving favor (i.e., propaganda) for Putin's crimes against her own people, yet she is now testifying as an expert witness before Congress on the need to shut down Internet bloggers and essentially restrict American’s accessibly to their immutable First Amendment.

Who in the H-E-double-hockey-sticks does this woman think she is?

“They mobilize and they feel they’re part of some enlightened fight against the establishment….they find a platform to voice their deranged views,” said Wahl.

“By using the Internet to mobilize people that feel displaced, that feel like they’ve been on the outskirts of society, and give them a place where they can find a sense of belonging, and maybe make a difference in their own way, and it’s a problem,” she said.

...conspiracy theorists were “shaping the discussion online, on message boards, on Twitter, on social media,” before asserting that the web had become a beacon of “disinformation, false theories, people that are just trying to make a name for themselves, bloggers or whatever, that have absolutely no accountability for the truth, that are able to rile up a mass amount of people online.”

Neocons?! There's no such thing! Next up, they will hold a Senate Hearing and have Kristol, Kirchik and Krauthammer testify that there is no such thing as a neoconservative.
