Sony Pictures condemns latest release of data by WikiLeaks

LOS ANGELES — WikiLeaks has published an abundance of information leaked during the cyberattack on Sony Pictures, potentially reopening one of the ugliest chapters in the studio’s history.
The Julian Assange-run website, known for its massive release of classified U.S. military documents and diplomatic records, on Thursday published a searchable database of emails and other documents, which it dubbed “The Sony Archives.” The move probably will lead to renewed scrutiny by the general public and journalists and could result in more disclosures about the company.
The public can now easily peruse the data, which includes 30,287 documents from Sony Pictures and 173,132 emails to and from more than 2,200 Sony Pictures email addresses.
