Last April he was charged with the murder of seven infants who were born alive after failed abortion attempts.

According to former clinic staff, murdering newborn infants after botched abortions was a regular occurrence. One clinic worker estimated nearly 100 living babies were gruesomely murdered moments after birth.

This is a picture of some of the body parts found in his clinic.

His West Philadelphia abortion clinic has been in business since 1979 and according to the almost 300-page grand jury report, it went almost two decades without being inspected by state health officials…

Prosecutors and former clinic workers said the operating rooms were stocked with “filthy, corroded” instruments and outdated machines.

His untrained staff included a then-15 year old girl who sometimes assisted in abortion procedures and administered prescription drugs to patients.

Here’s how the grand jury investigating Gosnell’s crimes described the case:

This case is about a doctor who killed babies … What we mean is that he regularly and illegally delivered live, viable, babies in the third trimester of pregnancy – and then murdered these newborns by severing their spinal cords with scissors …. Over the years, many people came to know that something was going on here. But no one put a stop to it.

According to an excerpt from what the neonatologist told the grand jury, the babies he murdered suffered:

The neonatologist testified… If a baby moves, it is alive. Equally troubling, it feels a “tremendous amount of pain” when its spinal cord is severed. So, the fact that Baby Boy A. continued to move after his spinal cord was cut with scissors means that he did not die instantly. Maybe the cord was not completely severed. In any case, his few moments of life were spent in excruciating pain.

Gosnell was convicted of first-degree murder in the deaths of three infants last May.

The story was never surprising to me. People who perform abortions can't possibly have much of a moral compass.

The women (and men who encourage it) too.

Babies feel pain and have senses inside the womb too. My wife who is well into 3rd trimester shows me that when she puts an ice pack on her belly, the baby moves away. I have had what I believe are interactions with the baby, she will be kicking, so I apply pressure and tap back at the area, and she responds with more kicks in that area, when I move my hand to a different spot, she moves too and finds my hand.

Anyone who willing has an abortion is a murderer. That's a real live baby in there.

I think I'll just have to pass on that opportunity.

It's interesting that Gosnell's lawyer argued that he should not have been charged with killing babies who were born since it was perfectly legal to kill them while they were still in the womb. Technically he's right. And it's that reality which is why Rand Paul is so brilliant to turn the abortion debate on its head by pushing the question on the woman public figure stupid enough to admit that she still thinks it's abortion even in the last trimester should be between a woman and a doctor. Should infanticide be between a woman and her pediatrician?

I mentioned in the other' thread, 29 states have 'fetal homicide laws' , so they want it both ways. Murder ok, if the mother hires the killer.

Exactly. I'm all out of rep.
