On April 12, 1945 the patrician dictator of the American fascist state, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, passed into the guarded realm of court history. His death seventy years ago in the closing days of World War II was not without controversy.

He had the courage of his convictions. A piece of paper wasn't gonna get in the way of that.

I am still amazed how loved he was. he led them into war and slavery. hopefully Rand will remove the old bastard from the dime. and transform Hyde Park into a memorial for his victims.

Too bad for America that it wasn't 100 years ago today.

The Making Of A Dicatorship

Edmund Burke 1729-1797 stated: "The only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing." This is exactly what has happened and brought us to the sad situation today.

"Beware the leader who bangs the drums of war in order to whip the citizenry into a patriotic fervor, for patriotism is indeed a double-edged sword. It both emboldens the blood, just as it narrows the mind. And when the drums of war reached a fever pitch and the blood boils with hate and the mind has 'closed', the leader will have no need in seizing the rights of the citizenry. Rather, the citizenry, infused with fear and blinded by patriotism, will offer up all their rights unto the leader and gladly so. How do I know? For this is what I have done. AND I AM CAESAR." --Julius Caesar

"Why of course the people don't want war ... But after all it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is (a democracy, or) a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship ...Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger."- Hermann Goering, at the Nuremberg Trials after World War II.

The power that a State has over its people resides in its war powers...

I don't want to blame everything on FDR (http://www.ronpaulforums.com/#FDR), after all, Wilson and the constructors of the Federal Reserve system, certainly have to share part of the blame, but there is no distorting this fact: FDR (http://www.ronpaulforums.com/#FDR) was the biggest traitor that this country has ever known. Besides selling every living soul within the confines of this great nation into slavery, FDR (http://www.ronpaulforums.com/#FDR) is single handedly responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people across the globe (selling millions into Communist slavery in Eastern Europe), putting him in the same company with mass murderers, such as Hitler and Stalin. His "New Deal", a.k.a. "Raw Deal", was almost word for word taken from the Communist Manifesto. He was a card carrying Communist and he did his best to turn America into a Communist dictatorship-- no matter the means to an end. FDR went out of his way to help his buddy Stalin, including allowing him to build his navy in the U.S., and sending him supplies and weapons, not to mention the atomic bomb. Yes, FDR is the reason that the Soviets achieved a nuclear bomb, for which we spent 50 years on the brink of total annihilation. These are just a few of his treasonous acts.

Nothing annoys me more than when ignorant members of my community and the mass media refer to America as a Democracy. America, as it was originally formed, was not a Democracy, to which our founding fathers were opposed, nor has it ever been, but was infact setup as a Constitutional Republic. FDR effectively abolished this form of government and converted it into a dictatorship run by foreign banking interests. While our troops were abroad, giving their lives for their country; they returned home to find that they were victims of the same tyranny that they had fought against. They arrived home slaves!

A Republic, by definition, has two principle elements, First, it is controlled by Law, therefore it does not control Law. Second, it recognizes the private independent sovereign nature of each person (man or woman) of competent age and capacity, therefore a Republic must be representative in its nature.

A Republic recognizes Law is unchangeable, or at least that it can only be changed by a higher source than government. In a Republic the concept of “collective sovereignty” cannot exist, except with recognition that the State or nation, as a body of sovereigns, can speak through one elected voice; though that one voice can never lawfully interfere with the private rights of the individual sovereigns.

“A Constitutional Republic” is a government created and controlled, at least, by the Law of a Constitution. The Constitution of the United States of America was, in Law, foundationally based on the Bible, the Magna Carta, and The Declaration of Independence. Those documents recognize man’s sovereignty, the divine nature of man’s creation and man’s divine right to Life, Liberty, Property, and the pursuit of happiness. The American "citizen" has lost his sovereignty, and all representation in government.

“The Constitution is swollen with dangerous doctrine; doctrine that will be taken advantage of by the Federalists, a faction of monarchy men, military men, aristocrats and drones whose noise, impudence and zeal exceeds all belief."-- Richard Henry Lee, letter to George Mason, 1 October 1787 This was the "rat" that Patrick was smelling."If one understands that socialism is not a share-the-wealth program, but is in reality a method to consolidate and control the wealth, then the seeming paradox of super-rich men promoting socialism becomes no paradox at all. Instead, it becomes logical, even the perfect tool of power-seeking megalomaniacs. Communism or more accurately, socialism, is not a movement of the downtrodden masses, but of the economic elite." Gary Allen, Author

Roosevelt issued an Executive Order which would force the American people to give up their gold in exchange for paper money. When the passing of the appropriate legislation was accomplished, the American people were forced to give up their gold for this new paper money called "greenbacks" or US Government Notes (contrast this with the Federal Reserve Notes which we now have). They had received .67 in paper money for an ounce of gold. This sounded fair in the very beginning, but, shortly thereafter, the government raised the price of gold to $35.00 an ounce. In short, the government (during the great depression) had robbed the American populace of over three billion dollars. Senator Carter Glass was asked his opinion on this new development. He replied, "President Roosevelt, I think that this is worse than anything that Ali Baba's forty thieves could ever have perpetrated."

Not to mention his wretched NRA(National Recovery Administration) which forced American farmers to burn their crops, shoot their cattle, throw out their milk; all of this in the midst of a "Great Depression", where millions of Americans were starving and homeless.
