Try this.
Point out that 70% plus Americans are against the war in Iraq.
Note that all of the Republican candidates except for Ron Paul favor continuing the war in Iraq.
Make this very clear: If the Republicans nominate a pro war candidate Hillary will win the election by getting 100% of the anti war vote.
If, on the other hand, the Republicans nominate Ron Paul, Hillary will suddenly be the pro war candidate by comparison. So Ron Paul will get the anti-war vote and win the election.
Tell them that no matter who gets elected we will eventually leave Iraq. Do we want to leave now and put a conservative Republican in the whitehouse or leave eight years from now after Hillary's second term ends?
