so whats with romney leading the poll? does Morgan just happen to have a lot of readers who are romney supporters?
Are romney supporters actually organizing their efforts?
Or has romney wasted thousands of dollars trying to spam a few polls?

whatever case it may be, RP will be ontop again when the word gets out.

Every time RP gets close or passes MR.... over 100 votes come in within minutes, I think Morgan herself must be keeping him on top

Honestly people we cant, and wont win every poll. Saying that Romney supporters are spaming is just like everyone saying that we are.

Because we've been wrongly accused of gaming polls doesn't mean there aren't people out there doing such a thing.

This is the only place I have EVER seen Romney in the lead on ANYTHING. Though if someome created a Flip-Flopper poll I'm sure he'd be a real contender. It just smells fishy.

Romney made another suspect jump in the polls...a couple hours ago he was well under 700. Reminiscent of the Fox news text message poll I think.

I'm telling ya: The webmaster is manipulating that poll.

Yesterday Fred Thompson was in the lead, and Romney was near the bottom.

There's no way there are enough net-savvy Romney supporters out there actively working the online polls that his votes could go up by more than seven hundred in 24 hours.

He's up to 940ish now. So in 30 minutes he's gone up 200 votes, which represent about 1/4 of his total votes, and the poll has been up for 2-3 days.

Last time i saw that poll i came from another thread here on this forum. The messages in the thread told that it was a battle between Thomson and Paul at around 250. And Romney had less than 100 votes. When i went to vote the results showed that Romney had more than 300 votes, and was in first place. :D

Should have posted on that but i guess its too obvious.

It's so easy to fix online polls, I am a web programmer (amongst other things), it is easy as pie. heh

the whole diebold thing was real too, they definitely cheated with those machines. Maybe not in all districts but still.

Is there a way to have a trustworthy online poll jd603?

This is so obviously being manipulated! I bet if we could get Paul to 5,000, Romney would stay just ahead.

pfft, while I have voted in some of the online polls, I don't give them any credit. Its too easy for the owner to manipulate the outcome. Now, what I do pay attention to is the meetup.com numbers and RP is definitely the winner there. The meetup numbers matter because while polls and web traffic mean he might be getting alot of recognition, the meetup numbers mean hes getting alot of real action. So even if Romney has 1000 supporters online, they're too lazy to actually get out and support him for real.
