On this day that Rand Paul announces his campaign and we are running a moneybomb, the enemies of freedom have shown their hand. The disgusting neocon pigs who hate America and who cut deals with Al Qaeda and their allies and treat Hillary Clinton like she's a republican need to be taken down a notch. John McCain, that corrupt senator who received money for influence in the Keating 5 scandal and who posed for pictures with vile "Free Syrian Army" terrorists who's organization sold an American journalist to ISIS to be behead, has announced his candidacy. His disgusting neocon and neolib allies have launched an attack against Rand Paul because somehow Rand is "anti American" for doing what Ronald Reagan did in seeking to negotiate with our enemies in a "trust but verify" approach.

Our typical, but flawed, response to crap like this in the past has been to spread the vile filthy propaganda of the vermin neocon "bloggers" by posting their garbage on our on forums so the we can all moan and complain about how bad they are for being good at what they are trying to do. Stop it already! Everyone of us needs to have our own blog. Instead of posting their crap, post attack articles of our own! Sure you can reference their garbage in your blog post, but what you should post here should be your response and not their garbage! Imagine how much positive news there would be about liberty if everytime one of us saw an article attacking him or attacking Ron or attacking the cause of liberty there was at least one (or better multiple) blog posts from us in response? We would really own the internet! I am convinced, and I have been since 2008, that one of the main tactics of some of our enemies to get web traffic is/was to post the most anti freedom, anti Ron/Rand vile disgusting dishonest post they could come up with in the hope that we would go to their site and attack them thus driving up their web rankings. Sure they would "complain" about us but that was a mask so that we would keep driving traffic their way. Stop it. Just stop it. And start blogging yourself! Everyone who is running a liberty blog or vlog or whatever, post links to your articles in this thread. Let's encourage each other to fight on! We can all come up with at least one blog post per day. Imagine if just 10 of us consistently do that how much pro Rand Paul/pro liberty material will be out there in a year! Who's with me? Don't say you are if you aren't going to come through. You can do other things. But we need to do this!

My first shot across the enemy bow.

It's one thing to say make and post a blog, but it's another to do it to a point where you gain a widespread and consistent audience. That takes time. Hell, only about close to two years with this WordPress blog I use and you're still always looking for ways to gain an audience. It's challenging and more than just posting.

Please post the link to it. I read your blog, you read mine. Yes blogging is lonely work sometimes. I've started a bunch of blogs over the years, some only with a few posts. One blog I started gets mad traffic even though I forgot about it though. It's about an obscure programming language (ColorForth) and frankly there's not a lot of other information on it. In fact if you Google "Colorforth Tutorial" I'm the first link. Cool huh?

Anyway, I was digressing. My point is this. It takes no more time and energy to write a blog post than it does to write a forum post. But forum posts give us not so much in return for our efforts. So blog away, post link here on RPF, and even if you get zero traffic, you aren't helping the enemy like you do (you generic not you personal), by posting hit pieces from other bloggers and saying "Isn't it a shame this person said this about Rand/Ron?"

You can also post your writings here and anything that follows good edict principles and is half decent will get promoted here, which goes out to a lot on twitter and more. Point is, well do all we can to help and others should too.

I clicked the linky and no worky.

Edit: And yes. I have worked behind enemy interwebs lines before. Bonegrinding, teethgritting work. I may start an account on Redstate and blog on my personal blog and repost there and here.

Heh. Don't believe that for a second. I know for a fact that entire articles that reach millions as well as a forward television narrative have derived from forum postings and speculation that have come from here.

Good idea. I'm not too active on my blog and I mainly concentrated on state and local issues, but it makes sense to go on the offensive (making articles) rather on the defense (reacting to others on a forum).

The idea of starting a new blog, branding it, and attracting an audience can seem daunting. If we have some bloggers established here already, maybe us nonbloggers can post to them to drive content and traffic.

I run the Rand Paul 4 President Tumblr Page. It's not the official page, but I run it as best as I can. It's gotten to over 200 followers as of today. [Link] (http://rand-paul-4-president.tumblr.com) I do support posts, clarifications, rebuttals to attacks, and occasionally, an attack against some of the other possible candidates.

I've actually been tinkering around with an idea for a podcast based page (I record from the hip, as it gives it a more personal conversation feel), with attached written pieces as a particular way to make a point will always occur to me afterwards.

Full disclosure, I have worked in adult bars on and off since I was 20 years old (turned 41 this past month), and worked as a head emcee for several Platinum Plus', Christie's Cabaret, The Pony, PT's Showclub, ect. I say this because my job was literally to keep 500 to 1,000 people focused on me and the show, so they sit there and keep spending money. Please excuse my confidence, but I am very good at it. I am debating on the podcast aspect as opposed to full on writing, as my grammar skills are severely lacking.

I have messed with blog sites before, but the well of my technical know how runs dry very quickly. I work from home though, so I definitely have the time. I did some pod casts for some friends a few years back. They were putting together a gaming client, and were throwing everything but the kitchen sink to generate word of mouth. Sadly, they realized the kind of revenue you need to facilitate a deal like that isn't meager. I mention that only as a set up to this tube, so you can get an idea as to what kind of vibe I give when speaking, and understand the backdrop of the link:

Can anyone give me some good advice as to where I should look to set up shop, keeping in mind that I am like a retarded monkey trying to hump a football with my "l33t" web ninjitsu. Maybe someone has a blog running, and would like to add something more than articles? I am open to whatever works best. As I said, my writing is nothing noteworthy, but the good Lord did decide to give me the gift of gab.

And as an aside, before anyone wants to hate on the accent (I am half coon ass and half redneck...culturally speaking), remember that isn't an accent. That's God's language, southerners are God's people. Why do you hate God?

wordpress. You can get a free, reasonably powerful and simple one at https://wordpress.com/.

I cut and paste things and use

I'll reiterate: sign up for RedState and start writing articles.

My recent piece, "Rand Paul is too strong on the Second Amendment, according to the NRA (http://www.redstate.com/diary/freedomrepublican/2015/04/09/rand-paul-strong-second-amendment-according-nra/?hc_location=ufi)" now has 21,000 shares (which means a butt load of people have seen or read it).

It had 12,000 before today. I had shared it on tons of Facebook pages and groups. A couple of big pages shared it. And today, Gun Owners of America shared it (https://www.facebook.com/GunOwners/posts/10152840963911701), bumping it up to 21,000 shares (so far).
