Realistically, I dont think we will hit 100k pledges but at the rate we are going I think we can get close to 30k. I predict that we will raise Between 6 and 7 Million on the 16th. This will be an INCREDIBLE DAY for the Campaign and for Ron Paul.

ROCK OUT the 16th!

(P.S Support the blimp so it can be in the air over Boston, what a photo op!)

If everyone donates $500 instead of $100, that would do it.

We need the blimp too to make this a joyous occasion. If you said you were going to give money, and haven't done so yet, now is the time to give.

We'll hit 10 million. Just keep working on your friends and family. If you have a friend or family that you haven't tried to convince to donate on this day..... shame on you. Seriously.

Has everyone here sent an alert out to all their Myspace friends and Meetup groups to donate on the 16th?

I am going to donate on the 16th, but because I can't donate 100$ I haven't pledged. I think there are a lot of people like me out there.

We need to do more than that. For 11/5 at least one message was sent to every Meetup group and to each one of Ron's over 70,000 Myspace friends. We need to do the same thing this time, at the very least.

I'm sure that a lot of people who signed up will donate more than $100. A lot of people who didn't sign up probably plan on donating as well, but just not $100. Regardless, it will most likely be a huge day for the campaign and sure to grab more media attention.

Nov. 5 and Rudy's Reading List were both pretty consistent on the pledging people vs. actual donations ratio.

Nov. 5 ~18,000 people --> $4.3 million... that's approximately 2.5x the pledges

Rudy's Reading List ~2,200? people --> $530,000... again, that's approximately 2.5x the pledges.

IF the same holds true for the Tea Party... then:
25,000 people --> $6.2 million
30,000 people --> $7.5 million

To get $10 million, IF it's the same ratio, we would need 40,000 pledges.

Of course, maybe this time people are holding onto more money to donate more than $100, so it might be possible to do it with only 30,000-33,000 pledges.

good point. and i think since people saw how effective the 5th was they'll be more likely do donate on the 16th. And a lot more people know about the 16th this time, but that doesn't mean they'll sign up on the site. I know I plan on donating twice the amount I did on the 5th.

I'm interested in starting up some kind of campaign to urge people to spread the word about the Tea Party to all the Ron Paul supporters in Meetup groups, MySpace, FaceBook, Youtube, and elsewhere. I think we should set a date (for example Dec. 10) on which we go ALL OUT to send out alerts about the Tea Party!

If anyone is interested in organizing something please send me a private message.

Heck, $7 million sounds good to me. That's still breaking multiple records. If $4.5 made news imagine $7 million.

Let's not forget Operation Tea Bag You Tube. That should help a lot with reminding the internet legions.

Math schmath. All precedents and mathematical forumlas go out the window on December 16th. The sky is the limit and I am feeling confident that this day will be bigger than most people think. We're going to shock a lot of people on that day and I'm just happy to be a part of it.
