It's just one day... I wouldn't worry. We still got The Tea Party on our side. ;)

With as much exposure as Huckleberry has received through the MSM he should be raising millions. The only day that matters in the "how much did they raise in one day" sense at this point is Dec 16th.

Guys, I know it's just one day and doesn't matter that much in the grand scheme. We'll outraise Huckabee by more than $10 million, most likely.

I was just trying to fire you guys up and get some more money flowing in. ;)

Can you believe that Pat Buchannan just said that the race is between Huckabee, Giuliani, and Romney?!?!?

I think it'll only be an emergency if this post is made on 12/16.

Chill. Wait until after the 16th and th end of the quarter. Huck will end up with a couple mil. RP will have $15-20 million.

Then, when the FEC numbers are released, divide by 90 and see that RP's daily average is 5 times that of Huck.

we should all just wait till the 16th so we can get our 10 mil

LukeNM

The more we challenge them now the more they might actually collect. Better to wait at this point and blow them out of the water (no pun intended) on the 16th.

This reminds me of a RP quote "We stood up to the Soviets that had 40,000 nuclear weapons but now we are fretting about third world countries with no army, navy or air force!"

Huck = third world country

wow, the last part of those graphs are IDENTICAL.

Wierd coincidence, but that will only last untill the teaparty.

It's true the lines look the same. But if it weren't for the Nov 5 "everyone donate one day" mentality, then the Ron Paul line would be much steeper. If one guy didn't think of a big Nov 5 fundraiser, do you really think a good part of that 4 million would never, ever have been donated?

The graph was at an exponential curve up, then about Oct 23, the Nov 5 idea came about. Notice the leveling off of the graph, to save money for the 5th.

Not that surprising:

a) According to the latest Rasmussen poll Huckleberry is tied for first place nationally.
b) He's got a ton of media exposure
c) All those people who are on the fence, who haven't donated are now pouring cash into his campaign
d) Our money is starting to slow down because of tea party
e) There is absolutely no reason to care about Huckleberry's fund raising because there is no way he can match ours

On November 5th we nearly raised what Huckabee will all of Q4.
On December 16th we will raise more than Huckabee will all of Q4.
Fretting that on a day here or a day there he beats us is irrelevant.
Even with a month of free press, this is the best he can do?
Even if he wins Iowa, which I still have my doubts, he will go nowhere afterwards.

some people like to "be a part" of things. this is sad. however i do know from some people I have talked to that they werent planning on donating but because they saw the possibility of "being part of something big" they changed their mind and made their first ever political donation.

LOL QFT!

Although I think we should not be cocky about ANY candidate. Things can and WILL turn on a dime.

if huckabee has raised over three times what he did the last quarter, how are the other candidates doing? he must be taking support from them. it's the only way.

Why does Ron's total start at about $1.25 million on October 1st? Doesn't that seem like an "unfair" head-start?

I'm interested in starting up some kind of campaign to urge people to spread the word about the Tea Party to all the Ron Paul supporters in Meetup groups, MySpace, FaceBook, Youtube, and elsewhere. I think we should set a date (for example Dec. 10) on which we go ALL OUT to send out alerts about the Tea Party!

If anyone is interested in organizing something please send me a private message.

My dad sent me an email saying Ron Paul should run as an Independent (I've been trying to convert him :D ). So I sent a nice long email to him to which he replied with a phone call. He basically agrees with everything about Ron Paul except for the Iraq War.

Anyway, he said "I liked Huckabee in the debate. He's real smooth." My reply was, "Yeah, but he dodged several questions for a laugh and has a horrible history in politics. Look at taxhikemike.org when we get off the phone."

About 5 minutes after we got off the phone, he emailed me with, "Huckabee is a filthy politician. Yuck!"

Huckabee needs to be called out about his past in the next debate. It will easily get people to look past his nice suit.

PS Good things will come from Huckabee's rise. Paul is unlikely to ever lose support (once you go Paul, you will never go foul), and if the other candidates lose support to Huckabee, that will only bring Paul closer to them. As Paul passes people like Thompson and McCain, he'll start looking a lot more attractive to undecided voters.

We should actually be cheering Huckabee on... somewhat. Still, a little friendly fundraising competition will do both the Huckabee and Paul campaign good.

They can fund raise all they want, they'll never have 1/10th of the actual volunteers or boots on the ground that we have. The more people learn about Paul, the more they like him. The more they know about ANY OTHER CANDIDATE, the less they like them.

Huck is doomed to failure as soon as he starts to get any real attention.
