Join grassroots supporters of Kentucky Senator Rand Paul on Tuesday, April 7th at Murphy's Taproom in Manchester, NH as we celebrate Rand Paul's announcement to run for President of the United States.

In 2013 and 2014, #LibertyKaroake in Arlington, Virginia raised more than $20,000 for principled candidates for office like Reps. Justin Amash and Thomas Massie.

Check out coverage from their first event for Congressman Justin Amash: http://bit.ly/LK_Amash

This event will be free of charge, but it is strongly encouraged that you donate to Rand Paul's 2016 efforts when the link is live.

Will the ... be showing up to crash this party or protest it?

There is a competing party. I did invite some folks though :) BTW, you should have sent your message as a PM has no one has any idea what we are typing out, being that this is happening in dozens of cities at the same time.

Since New Hampshire is considered the most important state to Rand Paul, there is a rumor circulating that there might be special guests at the New Hampshire karaoke venue. That isn't surprising considering it is owned by three NH Reps.

It looks like around half a dozen state reps. will show up. But that wouldn't be enough to create this rumor. I'm thinking someone big, someone huge. Perhaps Rand Paul's Freakin' Giant or even da Collins!

Karaoke group to raise money for Rand Paul 2016

If Sen. Rand Paul announces a White House bid Tuesday, supporters will be singing his praises — literally.

A Virginia youth organization vowed Saturday to hold karaoke fundraisers for the Kentucky Republican.

If Paul announces his presidential candidacy Tuesday, as he’s expected to, an organization called #LibertyKaraoke says it will host sing-alongs in 50 cities to raise money for the candidate, the “Liberty Conservatives” blog reported.

“I think Senator Paul is uniquely positioned to capture the youth vote for the Republican Party for the first time since 1988,” said Matthew Hurtt, an organizer for the Arlington, Va., group.

#LibertyKaraoke is banking on Paul announcing his candidacy this week. If he does, the group plans on using its events to haul in contributions towards his theoretical campaign.

The WP story hints at Rand Paul being at the event in Manchester, NH, at the free stater owned taproom.

The parties are intended to dispel the stereotype that political fundraisers are for “stuffy old people” at hundreds of dollars a pop, he said.

Hurtt started the political karaoke nights in 2013, and benefactors Reps. Justin Amash (R-Mich.) and Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) have even made star appearances at the Arlington bar, though neither sang.

No “celebrity” guests are expected in Arlington for the Paul party, but Hurtt said there might just be a “very special guest at the Manchester, N.H. event.”

He wouldn’t confirm who, but he did say he’d been trying to get Paul to come to karaoke in Arlington for a year.

And he added, “I wish I could be in Manchester.”

Paul has been known to spin some virtual records on Twitter, sometimes with the hashtag #DJRandPaul. The Paul playlist has included such throwbacks as Coolio’s “Gangsta’s Paradise” and Chumbawamba’s “Tubthumping.” And once he dedicated Bon Jovi’s “Living on a Prayer” to Sen. Cory Booker (D-N.J.), the other half of his Senate bromance.

Hope Murphy’s Taproom in Manchester have those tunes on its karaoke list. Just in case.
