The question has come up several times about Ted Cruz's position on immigration. Last night Ted spoke a bit about it on the Hannity Show.

Go to the 17:40 mark to hear Cruz talk about it:

Short, paraphrased summary: Secure the border, improve and streamline legal immigration, welcome and celebrate legal immigration, we are a nation of immigrants, etc.

In other words, the same PC GOP line that they've been spewing for ages.

Cruz's stance on this is confusing. [Mod Edit: This is a spoof site, not run by Cruz]

Cruz enters race with website challenge

Sen. Ted Cruz’s nascent campaign for the White House is running into its first signs of digital trouble.
While the firebrand Texas Republican prepares to announce his bid for the presidency on Monday morning, he does not appear to have control over the most obvious website to rally supporters: TedCruz.com.

Instead of leading to a site for the senator or his political action committee, that website — which was created just Monday morning — automatically redirects users to HealthCare.gov, the website for people to find health insurance under ObamaCare.

Tried RafaelCruz.com also and that displays a different message:

The official "anti-establishment" candidate just gave the standard US Chamber of Commerce answer.

The same policies will continue. Not even the better candidates would consider just slowing immigration.

Standing up against Obama's illegal and unconstitutional actions on immigration should be a mandatory minimum requirement for any constitutional conservative.

But the details of immigration policy are a different thing entirely. What is conservative? What is populist? What is establishment? What is libertarian? And where does a "streamlined" system fit in that expedites and increases immigration? Would Obama support a streamlined system like that? Would Jeb Bush?

Some people think the Goldman Sachs connection is not important, but to me it is a key indicator that makes all his positions quite predictable even when I wasn't aware of them before.

At this point I'm ready to rally behind a candidate who is against immigration, period, no caveats. We're full up until we assimilate what we've got.

That won't happen, unfortunately. Any talk of assimilation or moratorium or cultural effect is smeared as "racist".
