Ron Paul knocked this challenging interview out of the park.

Thanks for that link to the interview. From reading everyone's comments while it was happening I was quite depressed about it. However, now that I have seen it, I am very happy with how it came off. Considering this type of show, target audience and format, this was outstanding exposure. Frankly, how many people can get Joy whatever her name flustered?!?! Go Ron Paul!!

I have been watching Dr. Paul give interviews all year. 9 times out of 10, the person asking the questions comes off as completely brain dead. Now this worries me. If these hosts are so dull, what kind of audience do they have?

What was he talking about when he said "the states don't deal with murder and violence"?

I actually really enjoyed the interview and I thought the women weren't as dull as some people seemed to think... I think they asked questions that really mattered to them which is good. The only thing I really didn't like was the "you know you can't win right" statement which was utterly ridiculous.

I thought it was decent exposure for Ron Paul. If I could coach him, I would encourage him to respond to comments like "I don't want the Gubment in my uterus" with "I don't want the Federal Government in any woman's uterus either, because it's true and it would be a perfect come back.

Why this and not Glenn Beck?

I think he meant to say the federal government.

I would like to see Ron Paul on Glenn Beck, Chris Matthews, and any other widely watched news program, as well as the view. I would like to know when to look for him on Beck's show myself.

What was he talking about when he said "the states don't deal with murder and violence"?

When I watched it I thought he said, "The states deal with murder and violence." If he put a "don't" into the sentence he misspoke.

What was he talking about when he said "the states don't deal with murder and violence"?

I think he means exactly what it sounds like.

States do not handle high levels of violence in certain cities/communities, so he was saying therefor they would not crack down on abortion? Not so sure about that though. Is there any states who would make abortion illegal on a state level, if so would they really enforce it?

She mentioned California though before he said that. Violence relative to certain areas, I'm sure violence is still high in lower-class cities, especially cities in California.

Why this and not Glenn Beck?

4.5 million undecided viewers vs 500,000 semi-decided viewers - that's why.

these women were clearly uneducated on teh issues which made for dumb interview. i wish he had talked about all his money raised compared the front runners when Joy asked that qw - you dont think you can win? Joy ...that is so yesterday...get a new qw...or dissapear in teh sea of sameness.

Also who was teh smug girl who said only rich gilrs can then have abortions.....liek she was saving teh planet or something....they woudl NOT have focused on these issues if they had a clue as to what was really going on in the world.....sad state of affirs...I like him better on political shows.....

but i thought the federal government makes the laws on murder? it's just the states who enforce it. (i'm canadian so i don't really know)

but i think ron paul meant what he said. the federal government makes the law. the law is the law, no matter what state you're in. but the states do get the say on how the law in enforced.. .which is what the abortion issue boils down to. the federal government would say that it is illegal, but the penalties can be decided by the state. that's why in some states, smoking marijuana gets you locked up for years, some states it's a slap on the wrist... but it's illegal no matter what state you're in.
