No surprise , allies of the foreign PM of the US funded occupation/oppression regime pounce on Obama and not too much he can do in substance after the foreign leader with help from Obama's domestic opponents spat in his face.
Bush knew how to handle the Israeli lobby (http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2011/jan/18/fbi-took-long-look-at-aipac-activities/?page=all) whose Iran war orgasm fantasies have reached a new high lately taking advantage of a weak puppet President without any real power or base.

Krauthammer: "This Was An Election Between Netanyahu And Obama" That "Obama Is Having Trouble Swallowing"
CHARLES KRAUTHAMMER: There was a big victory for Netanyahu personally and I think the reaction of the administration is now reaching levels where it has become unseemly, the pettiness and the petulance with which they are discussing the election. A presidential spokesman congratulates Israel on holding an election rather than, as did the prime minister of Canada, of the UK, congratulating the winner.
..
That worked in ousting Prime Minister [Yitzhak] Shamir in the '90s. It worked in defeating Bibi in 1998. But the regard with which Israelis hold Obama and the fear they have of the dealing with Iran as such that Bibi won. That's the message. He wasn't speaking out of place in the Congress. He was speaking on behalf of Israelis and that is what I think Obama is having trouble swallowing.

Obama’s rude snub of Netanyahu
By Jennifer Rubin March 18 at 2:53 PM
Unlike Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper and British Prime Minister David Cameron, who, as heads of governments of friendly countries are expected to do, offered personal congratulations to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on his victory, President Obama has not.
First, an aide was dispatched to say the administration was giving Netanyahu “space” to form a government. (There is virtually no chance he won’t be able to, with a margin of victory this large.) Netanyahu’s main rival Isaac Herzog called Netanyahu to congratulate him and has told his followers they are going into opposition. But Obama still isn’t giving up.
Next, we heard Obama might call in a few days — exactly when is not clear. And besides, unlike other heads of state, Obama had his secretary of state make a call to congratulate Netanyahu, a deliberate insult.

Netanyahu won. Now what?
"So he won and I have to say I am relieved. There wll be no more endless cycles of pointless ‘negotiations’ with Israel pretending that some day it will agree to a two-state solution while continually escalating both settlement (colony) building and the maltreament of the Palestinians. Now everyone will see that the Palestinians were right all along and that Israel has never been a partner for negotiations.
There is no real political Left in Israel and if the other side got to form a government, all we would have seen is more of the same. Now we’ll see if the EU has the decency and conviction to enact proper sanctions. Then of course there is the US. The US Administration might stall for a while, but we’ll see if they have what it takes to do the right thing. Israel is no friend to the US and the sooner they realise it the better."
