Today was the last day to file bills in the Texas legislature! We ended on a high note with our last bill receiving seventeen joint authors! SB 1864 protects our personal liberties by providing that a warrant must be issued before police can search your cell phone. I shall. 17 out of 31 State Senators already are sponsoring it. It will most likely become law.

It passed the Senate unanimously. It just passed out of a House committee unanimously.
