Consider the source. The National Review:

The Trotskyist pedigree of neoconservatism is no secret; the original neocon, Irving Kristol, acknowledges it with relish: “I regard myself to have been a young Trostkyite and I have not a single bitter memory.” Nor is there any doubt about the influence — one might almost say hegemony — of “former Communists” on the post-war conservative movement. ... The ex-radicals brought with them the knowledge that ideological movements must have journals and magazines to articulate their perspectives. In 1955, for example, William F. Buckley, Jr., launched National Review at the urging of Willi Schlamm, a former German Communist. In its early years, National Review was largely written and edited by the Buckley family and a handful of former Communists, Trotskyists, and socialists, such as Burnham and Chambers.

Dissecting the article shows the obvious bias of the sources.

We haven’t heard nearly as much about Rubio as about Walker, but it’s been a good few months for the Florida senator. Just last week, the Miami billionaire auto dealer Norman Braman told multiple news outlets, including National Review, that he will make a substantial financial contribution to Rubio’s presidential campaign if, as seems likely, he decides to run.

Nothing surprising here. Nothing but pro-Rubio activism. Braman would have much influence on Rubio. And Rubio's wife works for Braman:

It’s not exactly a secret in some Miami social circles, but Jeanette Rubio has been working for Norman Braman’s family charitable foundation- for quite some time now. The “American Son’s” wife has long been the cornerstone of the family, but now that the youngest one is in school and her husband is off the campaign trail for at least 4 more years, Mrs. Rubio was able to take the job opportunity the Braman’s have offered her.
...
According to our sources who first hand knowledge, Mrs. Rubio’s consulting work is very time consuming work that organizes the foundation’s biannual awards process, as she is responsible for compiling information, reviewing applications and visiting project sites. According to my sources it is actually Senator Rubio who increasingly finds himself at home running after the kids while Mrs. Rubio attends a meeting or a visits a site project.

At the American Enterprise Institute’s annual donor retreat in Sea Island, Ga., one attendee says Rubio got rave reviews from a crowd that included several billionaires.

American Enterprise Institute (http://www.rightweb.irc-online.org/profile/american_enterprise_institute)? LOL. Neoconservative central. Say no more.

“Senator Rubio is going to be a formidable candidate in 2016, should he decide to run,” says Lanhee Chen, a research fellow at the Hoover Institution who served as policy director for Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign. “He’s spent the last several years developing thoughtful, conservative policy proposals, and he will be a dynamic messenger who can tell the story of how his ideas will contribute to upward mobility, opportunity, and security for all Americans.”

LOL, another closet neoconservative who associates with Bill Kristol, Tom Cotton, John Batchelor and Marco Rubio. He worked for the Romney campaign, and probably hopes to work for the Rubio campaign. A real "unbiased" source.

More so-called "buzz" from the neoconservative Washington Post. Not written by Jennifer Rubin, she was probably busy with her latest hit-piece.

That is exactly true, "neocons buzz" is what title of this thread should have identified.
