As Tennessee considers several bills that could weaken marijuana prohibition in the state, a bill that would legalize cannabis oil for seizure patients has officially cleared its first legislative obstacle
This one should not have any problems passing. The one from last year passed, they are starting to grow it on the farm I think this summer:

Well this is a step in the right direction. But this is the "As long as it's been refined by an approved company" step.
Not quite that yet. It still has a lot of the language from the previous one. CBD is not to be classified as marijuana, and can only be grown at specific university farms for a specific research study. But this one has expanded language to cover patients who have it in their possession, and some other things about low-level marijuana possession.
