View Full Version : Brilliant move by Boehner to invite Netanyahu; Jewish lobby behind Dems is getting fractured

No substantial change in US Iran policy as Netanyaho returns home empty handed leaving behind pissed off Obama/democrats and a fractured left-wing of jewish lobby from which almost 1/2 to 2/3rd of all Democratic election funding came.

Maybe Boehner is not as dumb as he often looks. 2016 chances further diminished for Dems with this infighting.

The Justice Department reportedly is preparing to charge New Jersey Democratic Sen. Robert Menendez with corruption counts over allegations he used his office to help a Democratic donor.

CNN and The New York Times reported Friday that the charges are being prepared. The FBI would not comment; Menendez' office also did not confirm that charges are forthcoming, other than to defend the senator's conduct.

Israel wins its wars by letting the US Military do the majority of its dirty work. It would be no different than if Madagascar was a War Mongering country because it had the full power of by the US and USSR (prior to collapse) to fight its wars.

Next problem is that it makes very little difference between Dems and Repubs as far as fully supporting Israel, two wings of the same warmongering bird.

If anyone ever decides to make a movie of 'The Protocols of the Elders of Zion,' the opening scene is already done. An Israeli prime minister bewitching hundreds of American Congress members who cheer him on as if he is their Caesar and they are his legions; a few short miles away, meanwhile, the leader of the free world and sole superpower sits in the White House, helplessly seething (http://www.haaretz.com/blogs/west-of-eden/.premium-1.645227), pretending to be otherwise engaged, while his aides studiously ignore his very public humiliation.

Is the Bob Menendez News a Case of Political Retribution?

By Chase Brush | 03/06/15 5:54pm
Social media is on fire (https://twitter.com/search?src=typd&q=menendez) right now with speculation about how reports that U.S. Senator Bob Menendez (D-NJ) could face federal corruption charges in the coming weeks might impact by proxy a whole host of other political issues—from who might Gov. Chris Christie tap to replace him (http://politickernj.com/2015/03/how-menendez-wounded-could-impact-the-2017-democratic-primary-for-governor/) in Washington if the news proves true, to how the 2017 New Jersey gubernatorial field changes because of it.It’s all fair game, seeing as allegations of such weight and seriousness often do tend to derail the careers of otherwise seemingly reverent officials. But one particularly stimulating line of speculation is worth noting—if not because this kind of conjecture pretty much constitutes the stuff of political palace intrigue, then because it stand as a very real possibility.

News of Menendez’s corruption charges is dropping just days after Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu paid a visit to the House of Representatives to give a controversial speech on the inevitable failings of U.S.-led negations to disarm a nuclear Iran, much to the chagrin of the White House, who was neither consulted nor happy about the Middle East leader making the trip.Menendez, as one source pointed out, sat squarely in the middle of that controversy. Not only has Menendez, who sits on the Senate Foreign Affairs Committee, been openly critical of the Obama administration’s position on talks with Iran over its nuclear infrastructure, the ranking Democrat and fiery Cuban-American pretty much gave the White House the figurative middle finger when he chose to escort Netanyahu onto the House floor Wednesday — as if “speaking publicly about Obama’s Iran policy and threatening to put up [a] bill calling for more sanctions didn’t piss them off enough,” to put it in the source’s own words.

If there is in a Nobel Prize for Poiliticioning, it should go to Boehner for getting a Democrat prez to indict a senior sitting Democrat Senator and getting started major demoralizing infighting among Dems ahead of 2016. This also spells bad news for various mideast destabilization projects that current democrat regime had been supporting.
Biggest loser in the end from this mess probably will be Hillary 2016.

A major Jewish group on Thursday spoke up on behalf of Senator Robert Menendez (D-NJ) a day after the lawmaker was indicted by a federal grand jury in Newark, NJ.
“Regarding this week’s news of a federal indictment, unless and until the government proves its case, the Senator is presumed to be innocent,” the American Jewish Committee said in a statement. “We, therefore, intend to continue to work with him closely, as we have throughout his tenure. His leadership on pressing policy issues is too important to be silenced on anything less than proof of guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.”
“From AJC’s vantage point, our nation has been strengthened significantly in so many meaningful ways by the Senator’s long record of public service,” the statement added.
Menendez was charged on Wednesday with accepting nearly $1 million in gifts and campaign donations from longtime friend Dr. Salomon Melgen in exchange for political favors, according to The Associated Press (http://news.yahoo.com/jersey-sen-bob-menendez-indicted-corruption-charges-195317722--politics.html). The senator’s indictment contains 14 counts including bribery, conspiracy and false statements. Charges were also brought against the Florida doctor.
