Someone should lock him in the tanning bed.

“The three-week CR we offered would have kept this fight going and allowed us to continue to put pressure on Senate Democrats to do the right thing,” Boehner said in the meeting. “Unfortunately, that plan was rejected.”

A DHS shutdown, Boehner said, would be dangerous to national security.

“With more active threats coming into the homeland, I don’t believe that’s an option,” he said. “Imagine if, God forbid, another terrorist attack hits the United States.”

Too bad the border is wide freaking open, so all this DHS fretting is nothing but lies.

I don't understand the thread title. Does executive amnesty cost money? Isn't it just not spending money on certain things?

Yes. They have to hire contractors and the like to process all the paperwork for new applicants.

Someone just posted this on Redstate. Too funny.

If another Terror attack were to occur in the U.S. the Dept. of Homeland Security would probably find out about it on CNN.

Amnesty? This article seems more about just funding the DHS and less about immigration.

I think this sums it up pretty well. For whomever, Obama is taking instruction from. Most likely Henry Kissinger, based on that older General Jones confession in 2009.

The funding of the DHS was directly tied to the striking down the President's overreaching executive order. Boehner just folded when he formerly held the power of the purse, as the Judge frequently alludes to. There was no need to wait for the courts. Just shut it down and Obama can't do a thing in terms of his immigration plans.

Spending money on upwards of 35,000. earned income credit for illegal family per year (maximum 3 years) = $105,000. given to a family who has been here for three years and haven't filed taxes. Now they can come out of the shadows and file their taxes and walk away with 105K .. Doesn't that give you a warm and cozy feeling on how your tax dollars are spent?
