Throwback Ron Paul: 2007 Appearance on The O’Reilly Factor

February 5, 2015—On this Throwback Thursday, Ron Paul enters the “No Spin Zone.”

Bill O’Reilly takes 40 seconds to ask a question, Ron Paul is allotted 10 seconds to respond, and that’s good cable news television for 2007. Despite little time to speak, Paul knocks it out of the park.

“I think you’re concerned about the wrong country right now, because more than half of the al Qaeda that are committing suicide in Iraq right now are Saudis and nobody even talks about it.”
Certainly more and more people are talking about Saudi Arabia’s role in financing terrorism now. The #Declassify movement being just one example. Ron Paul continues:

“The al Qaeda is growing because of our policy. Our national security is threatened because of our policy and it makes it much worse. So I see the Iranians as acting logically and defensively. We’ve been fighting the Iranians since 1953. We overthrew their government through the CIA in 1953. We were allies with Saddam Hussein in the 1980s and we encouraged him to invade Iran.”

The House of Saud is not as distanced from Israel as the media wants people to believe. +suz Love old RP vids. Every time I watch Ron's videos I understand more what he was saying.

Ugh, if only Ronnie P were Rand's age when he ran in 2012 we would be living in a different country. Oftentimes watching him stumble and stutter in those debates versus even in 2007 was cringe worthy.

I hope Rand can match his wit.
