This is not going to surprise a lot of hardcore Ron Paul supporters who were close to Ron Paul's 2012 campaign.

Jon Downs, who worked in the 2012 campaign, has just been picked up by Jeb Bush for his 2016 campaign. Many always suspected that Downs was a mainstream plant in Ron's camapign to keep the campaign from being properly presenting the libertarian message.

According to WaPo, he was brought into Ron's camapign by Trigvy Olsen.

Olsen appears to be a serious overseas CIA-type "regime-change" operative. Justin Raimondo did a great expose on him. SEE: Has the Rand Paul Campaign Been Infiltrated?

Interesting. Well good riddance of bad rubbish. I remember someone posting a video outlining the supposed treachery of Trigvy Olsen and I remember Adam Kokesh interviewing a former Ron Paul campaign staffer who talked about it. So are the "You can't criticize Ron Paul's campaign without criticizing Ron Paul" types going to take up for Jon Downs?

Something doesn't smell right here... the guy was not on any of our staff rosters, he was not listed as a consultant, I never met him, he was never around, and no one ever mentioned him in conversation. Perhaps he was TO's assistant?

What I can tell you is that he did not play a significant role in the 2012 PCC, if he was even involved at all.

If you find any scoop on this guy, post it so we can keep track of him if need be.

I guess you don't know much about the 2012 campaign. http://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/campaigns/the-man-behind-the-ron-paul-ads/2011/12/08/gIQAQ3BfqO_story.html

If its the same guy I am thinking, he was also Romney's ad guy too.... not very involved, other than producing some ads.

I have said that often enough.
