Guess it explains why Free Republic and HotAir-types are inexplicably in favor of mandatory vaccinations: Almost everyone on those sites are over 50.

It's becoming very clear that the sites most hostile to Rand, if you actually click on some of the people commenting, everyone is literally a hundred damn years old. 90% are from the bible belt, and the vast majority have their profile covered top to bottom in Jesus quotes and gospel verses. As someone who has lived in the south, grew up in a relatively religious family, and is a practicing catholic, I have absolutely no problem with people who are old, christian, or from the south, and that description undoubtedly fits many Paul-ites and Liberty-lovers as well. But the pattern in which "crowd" is most virulently hostile on the macro towards Rand and towards the Liberty movement in general it is undeniably this particular slice of the American Right.

Wow, that poll is sad.

It really is. A mandatory injection? Really? It then becomes a contest of a drug company getting the government to make theirs mandatory and then $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. Plus you've got the possibility for abuse. I'm all for choice on everything that doesn't involve me hurting another person.
