A lot of ultra-rich people are quietly preparing to “bug out” when the time comes. They are buying survival properties, they are buying farms in far away countries and they are buying deep underground bunkers. In fact, a prominent insider at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland says that “very powerful people are telling us they’re scared” and he shocked his audience when he revealed that he knows “hedge fund managers all over the world who are buying airstrips and farms in places like New Zealand”.

So what do they know? Why are so many of the super wealthy suddenly preparing bug out locations? When the elite of the world start preparing for doomsday, that is a very troubling sign. And right now the elite appear to be quietly preparing for disaster like never before.

It's really a catch-22 for those who would "bug-out"......

All their wealth won't buy 'em a side of venison if the country folk don't want paper or digital currency.

Hedging bets that slick suited city folk are going to be any more welcome in the country than their welfare bred brethren is pretty foolish.

And............In case anybody is wondering, Mother Nature has been stocking her larder for the past couple of decades;

The wild game population is larger than I've seen it my whole life.

Rivers are full of both fish and crustaceans.

Berry plants and wild nut and fruit trees have been very heavily laden the last several years..

I don't think they intend to have any interaction with the local population.

Buy 10,000 acres and build a fortress in the center, with 5,000+gallon tanks of fuel oil, solar panels, massive food stores, etc. etc.

The plan is not to have to live forever; just long enough until most everyone else is dead, then come out and take their place back at the top of the oligarchy having missed out on all the color revolutions and head chopping

I'm unable to get my head around what exactly "they" would get on top of?

What could a person in a bunker offer a free man?

Oh-wait...........

Could it be free housing, free food, free education and free medical?

So they are now all the "preppers" and if they are rich enough, they arent crazy!

Why Does The Mainstream Media Like To Make Fun Of Preppers So Much?

Even though there are now approximately 3 million preppers in the United States, most of the time the media ignores us.

I would bet that more than 1% of forum members here fall into the prepper category. I'd actually be really surprised if less than 50% were.

if you're poor, you're a crazy prepper
if you're rich, you're a prudent planner

A lot of people remember the Y2K nopocalypse. That's why people make fun of preppers. I had a lot of well-to-do friends who made Y2K moves into mobile homes down in the country. After nothing happened they couldn't give away the 5-gallon buckets of stuff nobody would ever eat.

Survival skills are good to know. We have stuff to use if we need to go into survival mode, but I feel like if I don't have to live that way, I'm not going to. My husband and I live pretty small anyway, and he is not about to budge right now.

when you know you done wrong it is prudent to plan for the event of your victims taking revenge

When you think about the net worth numbers of the elite, having multiple self sufficient properties and passports is just rudimentary insurance.

I dunno. I've only seen 1 member from here post on survivalistboards.com which is probably the most popular prepping board out there. I won't name him, but actually I don't think it would matter if I did. I am fairly sure he isn't active here any more. Hell, I am barely active here anymore myself because I don't think politics matters anymore. The liberty movement can't succeed because elections are rigged. Too many of the members that are still here are fringe crazies, trolls, or just plain annoying. I only like the crazies.

mormons have bunkers newly built...I know because I know someone who worked construction that had to do jobs there through their company that was contracted.
