Wyoming House Bill Would Nullify Agenda 21 in Practice
A bill to protect property rights from Agenda 21 and similar measures was introduced in the Wyoming state house last week.
House Bill 133 (HB133 (https://legiscan.com/WY/bill/HB0133/2015)) declares that “neither the state of Wyoming nor any political subdivision thereof shall adopt or implement policies that intentionally or recklessly infringe on or restrict private property rights without due process, as may be required by policy recommendations pursuant to Agenda 21 or any other international law or ancillary plan of action that contravenes the United States constitution or the constitution of Wyoming.”
The bill was introduced on Jan. 20 by State Reps. David Miller (R-55), Theodore Blackburn (R-42), Scott Clem (R-31), Allen Jaggi (R-19), Norine Kasperik (R-32), Kendell Kroeker (R-35), Garry Piiparinen (R-49) and Nathan Winters (R-28). The bill aims to strengthen state sovereignty against globalist forces believed by many to be quietly undermining the Constitution across the United States.
The bill goes on to assert that “the state of Wyoming nor any political subdivision thereof shall enter into any agreement with, expend any monies for, receive monies from, contract services from, or give financial aid to nongovernmental and intergovernmental organizations accredited or enlisted by the United Nations to assist in the implementation of its policies related to Agenda 21.”
If passed, HB133 will be a big win for Constitutionalists and liberty supporters. Private property rights would be strengthened for Wyoming residents, while their state’s democratic political process would be protected from pernicious outside influences. Although Agenda 21 is marketed by its planners as benign and sensible, the program’s effect on American freedom could be devastating.
AGENDA 21 OVERVIEW
The United States government officially endorsed Agenda 21 in 1992 when President George H. W. Bush signed on to a treaty with 177 other countries at a large U.N. meeting called the ’Earth Summit’ in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. He triumphed this accomplishment as emblematic of a world coming together to maintain a safe, living environment for present and future generations. However, there is more to Agenda 21 than what these world leaders are willing to let on to the general public.
“In a nutshell, the [Agenda 21] plan calls for governments to take control of all land use and not leave any of the decision making in the hands of private property owners,” The Post-Sustainability Institute, a think-tank designed to rally awareness and action regarding Agenda 21, said on its website (http://www.postsustainabilityinstitute.org/).
“[Agenda 21] is a whole life plan. It involves the educational system, the energy market, the transportation system, the governmental system, the health care system, food production, and more. The plan is to restrict your choices, limit your funds, narrow your freedoms, and take away your voice.”
