Paul Jacob, Former Libertarian Party Director in 1988 put Ron Paul on the ballot in 47 states for his presidential run.
Now Paul Jacob is being prosecuted in Oklahoma with a 10 year felony. In 2005 he, along with two others moved to Oklahoma to work on getting a Tax Payer bill of rights on the voting ballot. They moved to oklahoma and became citizens of Oklahoma.
The Supreme court of Oklahoma decided to change what residency means and added that one must intent to reside permanently in the state, in order to collect signatures for a petition.
Drew Edmonson, the Attorney General is now charging Paul Jacob,Rick Carpenter, and Susan Johnson with "attempting to defraud the state of Oklahoma.
