The majority of the police force should have no weapons and should not be allowed to utilize violence.

If a situation renders violent force a special team should be at the scene.
The team would require an accountable supervisor, video crew, temporary legal defense for alleged perpetrator, psychiatrist and probably more.
The goal of this team is to resolve the issue & mitigate the use of unnecessary force and or collateral damage.

The average everyday policeman would not pose a threat to citizens. No dogs would be shot. If the cop is worried regarding his safety stay in the car and call in the next level crew that is specifically trained to deal with that threat.

Basically what I am suggesting is that the street cop is nothing more than a peaceful low level information gathering individual that solves simple issues and relays information to a supervisor that gets involved for more complex issues.

hmmm...well, tell me then who those guys are that kill dogs, kill people for basically nothing, flash bang baby's in cribs, shoot little girls in the head are then?....are they kept in cages, and when the king needs them he turns them loose?...or?

I am suggesting that we should replace the current Police Officer with Peace Officers that carry no weapons. I propose that there is little need for our current day Police officer and more of a need for Peace officers. In this day and age there should be animal specialists called out for loose dog violations and psychiatriac professionals called out when mental illness is suspected and anytime violence is necessary a supervisor with a full team should be on site.

In this day and age there should be animal specialists called out for loose dog violations and psychiatriac professionals called out when mental illness is suspected and anytime violence is necessary a supervisor with a full team should be on site.

Whatever the government's problem, I'm sure the government can fix it.
