Treasury Department Seeking Survival Kits For Bank Employees
Emergency masks, solar blankets to be delivered to every major bank in the U.S.

The Department of Treasury is seeking to order survival kits for all of its employees who oversee the federal banking system, according to a new solicitation.

The emergency supplies would be for every employee at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), which conducts on-site reviews of banks throughout the country. The survival kit includes everything from water purification tablets to solar blankets.

The government is willing to spend up to $200,000 on the kits, according to the solicitation released on Dec. 4.

The survival kits must come in a fanny-pack or backpack that can fit all of the items, including a 33-piece personal first aid kit with “decongestant tablets,” a variety of bandages, and medicines.

The kits must also include a “reusable solar blanket” 52 by 84 inches long, a 2,400-calorie food bar, “50 water purification tablets,” a “dust mask,” “one-size fits all poncho with hood,” a rechargeable lantern with built-in radio, and an “Air-Aid emergency mask” for protection against airborne viruses.

Survival kits will be delivered to every major bank in the United States including Bank of America, American Express Bank, BMO Financial Corp., Capitol One Financial Corporation, Citigroup, Inc., JPMorgan Chase & Company, and Wells Fargo.

It's not enough they steal our wealth over a lifetime, they get welfare from the taxpayers too?

Bankers mysteriously dying. What do they know that we don't and what are they preparing for? Economic collapse?

These banks can't afford their own toys?

They wouldn't be better off with kevlar and parachutes?

Procedure: Take all the crackers and water you can carry and hurry into the bank's vault.
Make sure all employees are safely inside. Oh, don't forget toothbrushes and deodorant!
Then, lock the door from the inside and wait in there, quietly, for ~1,000 years...

Won't be able to last long on one energy bar and three glasses of water. Calling it a "survival kit" seems to be over-selling it. More like a basic first aid kit with a radio/flashlight.

Contents for the kit:

Waist fanny-pack or backpack (all of the items below must fit in the fannypack/backpack)
• 2400-calorie food bar (minimum 5-year shelf life)

Not exactly "bug out kit" quantities on anything. Except maybe the water purification tabs.

One "Air Aid" emergency mask (I was wondering what it was):

Imagine being in a pocket of a collapsed building, possibly giving aid to someone that is bleeding... though yeah, the first aid stuff looks like for boo boos...

Or your car went over the side of a mountain road and you are trying to attract rescue. Most streams in the country have giuardia(sp?).

Entirely too much bank shit is floating around lately. Survival kits, Congress passing bills to bailout derivative markets and confiscate pensions, Chicago Fed has bricked up ground floor windows, suicided bankers galore, oil crashing, stocks gyrating hundreds of points a day toward the downside, banks telling large depositors not to deposit their cash, BRICS agreements galore, war escalations, the media is talking about nothing but protestors vs cops and class warfare (big distraction), etc.

I hope everyone is ready. Sure feels SHTF-ish.

Why are American taxpayers picking up the bill for this? Whether it be Government employees or private banksters, who gave the green light for this?
