Lawmakers initiate plan to authorize military force against ISIS without Obama (http://personalliberty.com/lawmakers-initiate-plan-authorize-military-force-isis-without-obama/)

This means a Syrian intervention without UN approval nor presidential.

The Senate Foreign Relations Committee is planning to put together a proposal for Congressional authorization of war against Islamic State terrorists in Iraq and Syria next week. It is expected to vote on the measure Wednesday.

Does Rand Paul even know that? going to war agaisnt ISIS is you will be sending troops to aid FSA terrorists. Republicans are just once again just how different they are from Dems.

Nothing more then War Mongers.

You act like you think the United Nations has ever really seen a war it didn't like. I don't see any evidence of that.

You also act like Congress can send the U.S. military to war without the Commander in Chief's cooperation, which is ignorant. Not that it hasn't been far, far too long since we had a president who saw a war he didn't like.

I haven't seen any difference between Republicans and Democrats in that department, either. No difference. Where differences exist, they are individual differences, and cross party lines. And if you can't see yet what Rand is up to, we can't help you.

Quite a lot of them about in Washington.

Party over principle and the merits of the individual candidate be damned. No need to look at the actions of individual candidates, because NBC--which is owned by defense contractor General Electric and whose main political discussion forum is sponsored every week by Boeing--will spin it fairly for you. Why do you come here with your mind made up, and refusing to be confused with facts, and why have you done it all these years?

Do you know what the term 'useful idiot' means? It means someone who sabotages everything he or she believes in just as hard as possible--then brags about it.
