New York City hundreds - broke free of barricaded "free speech zone" fake blood thrown in police commissioners face. family of Eric Garner, a Staten Island man killed by a police chokehold earlier this year, joined the Rev. Al Sharpton at a speech in Harlem. 3 bridges shut down. about 100 police officers wearing riot gear fired hard foam projectiles into the ground to disperse about 50 protesters.

Oakland, Cali - die in than stopped west bound traffic on Interstate 580 for an hour. at least 40 arrested. windows smashed, graffiti and trashcans torched.

BALTIMORE: In downtown Baltimore, the Baltimore People's Power Assembly is planning an "emergency response protest" in McKeldin Square at 4 p.m., followed by a march past the federal building. Another group is planning to march on Baltimore City Hall at 6 p.m.
