FBI arrested 2 black panthers after they tried to purchase explosives from a gun store.

They had also brought firearms with them when they had come to town.

And Sharpton's organization is having 2 dozen other demonstrations across the country... This could get hot if there are more cells.

On the surface (without any more information), that
sounds like a real good start to me: "FBI arrested
2 black panthers after they tried to purchase
explosives..."

It might have been even better to sell them bugged,
traceable, semi-inert material and then rope in some
more dopes. Like those ant traps where the worker
ants return the bait back to the nest to share with
the rest of the whole F'n colony. THAT might justify
a SWAT raid, as long as they show up at the correct
address.

Maybe...

BP's have been quite for decades...

But also proven violent...

On the bright side, at least the OP's use of "literally" was warranted, an increasingly rare phenomenon.

Didn't the news change to "2 black guys trying to buy firearms illegally"? Ofc, this could be the FBI trying to spin the news in favor on black
panthers or the news trying to stir shit up.

I never knew explosives were sold at gun stores.

Edit: Maybe they were trying to buy exploding target material? (Tannerite?)

The guy in the center of the bottom picture sure looks a lot like Jimi Hendrix.

Meanwhile in six other cells... "Suspects were accidentally sold real C4 and escaped after and FBI sting screwed up"

The official said the two men are the same pair named in a newly unsealed federal indictment returned on Nov. 19 charging Brandon Orlando Baldwin and Olajuwon Davis with purchasing two pistols from a firearms dealer under false pretenses.

previously

Two men have been indicted on weapons charges in federal court here for allegedly making straw purchases of two handguns at the Cabela’s sporting goods store in Hazelwood.A police source says both men are affiliated with the New Black Panther Party and were taken into custody this morning.
The indictment was handed up Wednesday and unsealed today accusing Brandon Orlando Baldwin and Olajuwon Davis of making false statements to obtain firearms. The defendants’ ages and addresses were not made public.
According to the indictment, between Nov. 1 and 13, Baldwin, also known as Brandon Muhammad, and Olajuwon, also known as Olajuwon Ali and Brother Ali, acquired two Hi-Point .45 ACP pistols at the store, claiming that Baldwin was the buyer when, in fact, the weapons were intended for someone else.
