From the campaign. SPREAD THIS RIGHT NOW

The time is now! To vote for Ron Paul in the Rhode Island primary on March 4, you must be a registered Republican. And if you haven't done so already, December 5 is the final deadline for registering and/or changing your party affiliation.

Registering in RI is easy and only takes a few minutes -- you can do it online here: http://www.rigop.org/RegisterToVote/Information.aspx

We at the national campaign have been energized by the support Dr. Paul has received throughout Rhode Island, but the fact is, Dr. Paul cannot win in Rhode Island unless his supporters register to vote as a Republican by December 5.
Let's not let filling out a few simple registration forms get in the way of a Paul victory in Rhode Island!

Thanks again for your support!
Yours in liberty,
Debbie Hopper
Assistant Campaign Manager
Ron Paul 2008 Campaign Committee

PS: If you'd like to read more about the process, a pdf of the official rules and important dates for the RI Presidential Preference Primary can be found here: http://www.sec.state.ri.us/elections/ppp/ppp_english.pdf

My last bump before class. Good luck spreading the word everyone.

I was just about to start a thread about this.
I got the same email, which mentions only RI, even though I live in Colorado and we have the same deadline.:confused::confused:
I think other states do as well, IIRC.
I just called the campaign to see if they'd send one out about Colorado but the guy I talked to didn't even know about the one that I received and I have no way of knowing if he's got anyones ear that can do something about this. Seems strange that they'd not include all the states with the same deadline. I've spend the last two evenings on the phone informing Libertarians of this deadline so any nudge to the campaign to get them to help out with this effort would be great.
Thanks. :)

Heck with it.
Title of thread doesn't mention Colorado. I'm starting a new one anyway.

Rhode Island is a state? I thought it was a county in Mass. Who'd a thunk it?

I live in RI. If your registered unaffiliated you can vote in the primary.
