Conservatives had a lot of reason to celebrate after Republicans won big in Tuesday's midterm elections. Matt Drudge of the Drudge Report, however, seems gloomy.

He tweeted as the results were coming in that even with the GOP taking control of all of Congress, it wouldn't make a difference.

"The reality is, [President] Obama is going to do whatever he wants anyway," groused Drudge. "He will not be stopped, and I doubt very highly Republicans will arrest him."

Was the terminator theme music ominously playing while he said it?

How long can the fear and loathing of Obama continue? He's a puppet expert teleprompter reader. He's no different then any of the stooges in the oval office these last years.

The Republicans fear Obama so much? When that guy finishes his term who are they going to bitch about? Almost 8 fucking years of waaaah waaaah Obama this! Obama that! FFS aren't they tired of talking about it? Who will be their new enemy? Hillary? Russia? Syria and ISIS? Will we have to hear about them for 4 to 8 years next? Fuckin aay.

Sometimes this pretend two party system gets so damn dull and ridiculous. Let's argue about Pot, Social Health Care, Abortion, and Gay marriage for the next 20 years while your constitutional rights are ripped from you one by one and not a fuck is given or even noticed.

Some will still be calling for impeachment in 2019.

is Drudge forgetting that if BHO does something really stupid as the most politically savvy
lame-duck POTUS since the days of Harry S. Truman way back in 1952 that any impeachment
trial will most likely hit during Majority Leader Mitch McConnell's watch? At the very least, it
behooves BHO to read up on both Dan'l Webster and Henry Clay, as he keeps in mind that poor
poor Bill Clinton has something in common with Andrew Johnson and not Richard M. Nixon or
Warren G. Harding. If we are about to slide back into the abyss economic again, 2016/17 is
about to feel as harsh as 2007/08 did. If we had a slight dip but are on the road to a degree of
recovery, the budget is about to get as close to being as balanced as it was under Bill Clinton.
Drudge just went into a funk as Mitch McConnell & Jesse Benton were given 2 reasons to celebrate?
Duckies, also... don't you think y'all were a tad rude to poor young Jesse Benton who now is about
to walk around The Hill with a more impressive title than the one he had as of late? If y'all want me
to eat "humble crow" I'm willing to do so over the BORAT and BRUNO jokes i was cracking at young
Jesse Benton's expense! I can admit my wit can be topical, and that the changes in D.C are sometimes
total surprises. I admit i was wondering WHEN Mitch McConnell would achive this lifetime goal of his...
Its almost as if Drudge went into a total Walter Winchell veteran reporter funk over this new GOP phase.

Also... until this point in time... Mitch McConnell could point to a high ranking Democrat
when explaining to Lindsey Graham of South Carolina as to why we weren't invading half
the nations of the Mid-East. As it stands now, Mitch is going to have to say "Lindsey,
I think that is a bad idea." over and over again. He also is going to be very polite as he
says "No" to all these wise folks in both parties. We may actually be very close to glimpsing
what Mitch McConnell does really think about the issues of the day. This moment is unique.
